And it's the right decision IMO

They have scored 3 goals between them for us this season.

  • I just want my lad to witness a promotion. Don't really care what happens or who plays for us after that. I definitely will in the future, but the absolute focus has to be to get out of this mind-numb

  • I disagree. His BWFC years were some of his greatest and happiest of his career. His latest SSN documentary piece highlighted this, as does countless footage of his wonder, his PFA nominatio

Your more than likely right; and with Markham as chief scout we would bring someone like a completely unfit Gary Madine in.

its working for Derby as Gayle has scored two already

At the time he went there, we weren't as badly hit, so it wasn't a consideration.

Obviously exceeded our playing budget. Can't get backing for a striker when we've got 4 on the sidelines with injuries getting full wedge.

Can't really attach blame to the manager for that though, considering all of them sustained their injuries in matches and not on the training ground

I do have some concerns over how the players are being prepared for games though, given so many apparently non-contact injuries

This.

A case of crying over spilt milk.

If necessary, Evatt will just have to put a youngster on the bench.

I doubt he will, but if he does want to have 2 or 3 striker subs, then he'll have to.

Could Paris not play a role up front? He’s similar to CMG in many ways and it would give us basically an extra man in midfield? Or could we try the likes of Forrester or even Toal up front? Or are we best just sticking to the 3 we have until things improve and look to get more goals from elsewhere? Surely we have enough to see us through these next two games until hopefully our regulars are back?

As for Toal / Forrester, I’d not be having them up there. Collins, Bod and Jerome need to step up and show why they’re paid to be at this club. The first two in particular should be good enough to hold their own against Oxford and Derby. Then hopefully have Dion back for the rest.

Dion will not be back this season imo and neither will Baxter

Our luck.. sods law..

Said it earlier, but what's the best team for? Surely we should be looking at one of these to step up?

Most of those players will be gone from the pro game within 18 months. It continues in the hope we uncover a Rob Holding every few years.

Bit gutting really, Sithole has played in league 1? granted not many games but surely it's worth benching them and using them if needed. Sonny Sharples looked to have potential when he played earlier this year (although I'm a bit biased as i used to teach him)

You certainly are.

IE keeps saying they don’t know until they see the specialist. With his wrist that will take some time to strengthen and Dion has had two set backs already

Has anyone looked at the number & type of injuries whether some might be down to the way we train ?

Only if they know a Huddersfield fan, season ticket holder obviously.

Anyone else think we’d be adding Collins to this thread when that twat went steaming in on him in the corner when we were 4-0 up? Could see it coming a mile off - it was as intentional and petty as the one on Toal in the pizza final, just lucky he didn’t properly catch him!

Yeah pal

Soon as he set off running you could  tell he had one thing in mind. No interest in winning the ball whatsoever.

Blatant as it gets
