Mantra Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 12 months left on his City contract Either signs a long term deal with them and becomes a loan merchant for a few years (because at the minute he's nowhere near Ederson), or he leaves on a free/cheap deal. Maybe City give us first dibs with a sell on/buy back clause. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 Think it's in the bn that he used said he wouldn't mind coming back again next year on loan. Quote
Whitesince63 Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 Just now, Dr. Feelgood said: He's a cocky sod. Nothing wrong with that Doc, I like his confidence. I actually agree with him that he couldn’t go back to playing U23 stuff again. That said he’s nowhere near City’s first team, or even their bench, so I can see Evatt doing a deal with City who’d lose him for nothing at the end of next season if his contract runs down. Quote
Rudy Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 Why should he settle for less. He’s playing competitive football. What does he want to do go back to a club where he’s going to be sitting on the bench, no the lad wants to play. Tremendous attitude Quote
Biggish Dave Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 Trafford probably needs 5 seasons of first team football before being anywhere near city’s 1st team. Come to Bolton for a bit lad Quote
marple whites Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 I liked his interview - came across well. All goalies are mad as brushes. fingers crossed he comes back to us. Quote

Blondi Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Trafford will be our number 1 keeper next season in the Championship. Quote
Spider Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Goalies need to be arrogant fuckers. The best ones are lunatics. Quote

If we're in the championship I'd be hoping we'd get a championship/experienced keeper. Jury still out surely, not like he's pulling off save after save or dominating the box. Got loads to do to prove himself and if we did go up I'd want us to have a more guaranteed decent keeper. He might be the next Joe Hart/Schmeichal from City in years to come but too early to put all our eggs in that basket for me. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 I’m happy to have him for another season at this level. He’s some way to go before he’s a division above yet. The lad is 19 though. I reckon he will be a cracking keeper in time, just don’t heap too much pressure on him too soon Quote
FrancisFogarty Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Trafford looks like a goalkeeper. Strong shoulders and arms, looks confident in his face. Not the finished article but a good prospect for the future. Hopefully for us. Quote
masi 51 Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 will look a 9/10 keeper one week and a 2/10 the following week....love his attitude but for me we need better next season Nothing against the lad but he is not what we need next season Quote

Fuckin hell. Quote
masi 51 Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Strange one Trafford...love his attitude and yes he will get better, dont want to knock him but he will cost us points. Would love to have the 25 year old Trafford but thats not going to happen Quote
marple whites Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 For me, he is a good up and coming keeper. Still loads to learn, but he has already made some big saves. what goalie doesn’t make the odd mistake. Quote
Casino Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Its a big job being a keeper in an evatt team Quote

And there lies my issue Quote
