Either signs a long term deal with them and becomes a loan merchant for a few years (because at the minute he's nowhere near Ederson), or he leaves on a free/cheap deal. Maybe City give us first dibs with a sell on/buy back clause.

Nothing wrong with that Doc, I like his confidence. I actually agree with him that he couldn’t go back to playing U23 stuff again. That said he’s nowhere near City’s first team, or even their bench, so I can see Evatt doing a deal with City who’d lose him for nothing at the end of next season if his contract runs down.

He’s playing competitive football. What does he want to do go back to a club where he’s going to be sitting on the bench, no the lad wants to play.

If we're in the championship I'd be hoping we'd get a championship/experienced keeper.  Jury still out surely, not like he's pulling off save after save or dominating the box.  Got loads to do to prove himself and if we did go up I'd want us to have a more guaranteed decent keeper.  He might be the next Joe Hart/Schmeichal from City in years to come but too early to put all our eggs in that basket for me.

I’m happy to have him for another season at this level. He’s some way to go before he’s a division above yet.

The lad is 19 though. I reckon he will be a cracking keeper in time, just don’t heap too much pressure on him too soon

Trafford looks like a goalkeeper. Strong shoulders and arms, looks confident in his face. Not the finished article but a good prospect for the future. Strange one Trafford...love his attitude and yes he will get better, dont want to knock him but he will cost us points.

Would love to have the 25 year old Trafford but thats not going to happen

MJ never had a 2/10 or Doyle but we are moving on

If Trafford is going to be our long term keeper i dont mind him learning and dropping bollocks. And there lies my issue
