The more cynical amongst us might assume it’s deliberate You know full well that energy companies buy in advance, and many have bought plenty at a high price to ensure supply. It's going to take a while to filter through, but that is where offgem must do their bit to ensure prices come down when they should. Petrol and diesel have already, but I don't think that it is bought in the same way as wholesale gas, and rises and falls quicker.

This I know to be true. Theres disposable income, but people seem to be reigning it in. winners and losers

One recently went to manage a private dentist. Others have gone to Amazon. Asda have also done fairly well.

IMF chief economist Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas told the BBC that last year, the UK had "one of the strongest growth numbers in Europe". that must of upset the French twat. If he’s unavailable for 4 or 5 months you know he’s good because he’s busy. I’m currently having my bathroom future-proofed. Bath now gone and walk-in shower in. Nobody used the bath other than for a shower anyway. I have waited for him since August.

The point being made is it is the same across Europe, it would be same under any party, when you say it isn't acceptable, no its crap but its driven by the worldwide issues, there is nothing anyone can do until it settles down.
