This is an interesting point.

NiC is right about the targeting, but I'd ask him just how effective it is.

I don't bother with X, but watch quite a bit of YouTube.

The adverts obviously reflect a product I may have searched for/bought previously, but I'm not convinced they influence me much.

After all, they're "after the event", and become bloody irritating after a while- even if the purchase was a positive experience.

Similarly, the number of AI based products chucked at me, and accounting software is bizarre.

Never used one, never looked at one, and will never need one.

The next and skip functions can't come soon enough.

Well, in terms of sales, very effective. The best thing is is trackable, so we serve up a load of ads for awareness, get them in the data pool and then serve conversion ads.

Out of Home still needs to do its job, but Ive just taken on a client. Sales were poor, but the campaign was only 12% digital but was giving 80% of the sales, so shifted the budget and we're close to sell out.

Its not rocket science.

Bit cold. When were on holiday, some young lad drove his car into another lad who was on a bike two seconds away from where we live.

Left him, got on the bike, drove off.

Handed himself in the next morning.

Two young lives ended. He's up for murder because he drove off.

Honestly, Ive driven on London a lot but in Kent they are nuts

Car crash of an interview from Laila Cunningham (Reform's candidate for the Mayor of London Election).

Dan Hodges (Daily Mail) the person cutting her and Reform's policy, to pieces.

and now a aunt (34) and neice (7) killed in house fire, two lads arrested, police not ruling out links to the other stuff

From the BBC website this morning

Things do seem to be improving slowly - but I think we're right to stay cautiously optimistic.

Fake news. Loads of ethnic types were on a trip to Llandudno and stopped off in Farnworth (probably to see the world famous Phoenix club)

He's a professional FB agitator.

I was in Sonning today for a client meeting (and dropped of one of the sprogs at Reding Festival) was having a coffee in a pub before my meeting and this couple were going on about how Pride is the worst thing ever, go Woke go broke, people who dye their hair pink are just agitators 😊 etc etc and then started on actual politics and neither of them liked Farage or Reform, basically they both agreed they dont trust him. Interesting that those on the right seem to have lost trust in him. But neither of them liked the Conservatives at the moment either.

Just thought it was interesting to overhear some traditional home counties voters who seem a bit lost about who to vote for.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/nigel-farage-reform-uk-poll-labour-b3039556.html

Reform UK have slumped to their lowest performance in opinion polls in over 18 months as Nigel Farage’s by-election win fails to boost the party’s popularity.

A new voting intention poll from More in Common puts the party at 23 per cent – four points behind Andy Burnham’s Labour.

The dip marks Reform’s lowest vote share since January 2025, and comes after weeks of infighting within the party.
