As Islam is a minority religion in Rwanda, the odds must be that he isn't one. With this in mind, I would have  thought that they would have been very quick to quash this potential rumour.

It was all over Twitter that he was an immigrant Muslim on a MI5 watch list who had entered the country illegally. This was within hours of the attack. They even gave him a name, the usual suspects were happy to churn this misinformation (should that be lies ?) 

Given it took a judge to even allow his name to be publicised yesterday it is fair to say other info was not being held back to reduce the impact it is the legal process that we have taken back control. Good old values like innocent untill proven guilty, right to silence etc etc. 

Then it turns out he was born here 17 years ago in Wales to a Christian family. The narrative turned to the fact his parents were asylum seekers, ironically from the safe haven of Rwanda. 
 

But on Twitter based on the  original misinformation there was a call to arms 'Come on Southport wake up' was one I read and the demo organised. Tommy organised one in London last week and beforehand the message was 'do not cross the line'. This week it was 'this is the final straw' the fight back starts today.

Now the vast vast majority of people whilst appalled by the murderous cunt do not get caught up in this, bet some do not even have Twitter. Lots however are concerned about immigration.

The misinformation leads to the trouble we saw in Southport, the images from there are awful people are not mourning the kids they are enjoying attacking the Police and ransacking a shop. These pricks who have been wound up by far right lies, even the Daily Mail has front page headlines saying where the lies came from. 
 

The ones that get so wound up by the lies they end up rioting in Southport are far right wing and should be called out. This does not mean everyone concerned about immigration or I daresay everyone who attended the Tommy event in London are far right.

You're the one going on tangents after i made a simple comment about hoping the person who attacked someone in Hartlepool got caught 

I don't know the religion of the evil cunt. but i know damn well people were spoiling for him to be a muslim/immigrant

Last sentence is exactly where I am. Death penalty achieves nothing, it’s not a deterrent and actually for some crimes especially terror related is preferable to long term imprisonment in the eyes of perpetrators.

But it is galling that we will have to pay for him to spend his life inside.
