  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

If legislation relating to breaching the peace is resulting in a de facto blasphemy law then the wording of the CJA 1998 needs to be reviewed because that was never the intention

Simply burning a religious text without any aggravating factors should not be a criminal offence in a liberal democracy

Whatever point he was making with the Isreali flag, it had no bearing on his arrest and charge

I agree re the flag. It’s just obvious he’s got another agenda.

But is burning a religious text not aggravated?

If I walked into a cathedral mid mass and said “this is what I think of your bible” & set fire to it, is that not stirring shit up?

He’s tarnishing every follower of the Koran with the same brush. i don’t think he should be charged by the way. But I’m not overly worried by his arrest . Clearly burning a religious book, done a certain way could be seen as breach of the peace. Just not sure this is such.

I wonder if the seconds series will show other countries that many are coming from, the countries which some Brits pay thousands to visit every year.

All misses the point anyway.

We know why folk come from crime ridden, God forsaken shit holes.

We also know what effect it is having on our society and economy.

Such things are just an effort to continue to push the progressive attitudes onto the public, whilst not wanting to confront the elephants.

For a while the west tended to help remove dodgy regimes and was then criticised.

Some justified. Some not.

Once gone, the vacuum gets filled with tribal conflicts and the populous shoot and stab each other. Refugees want away.

Leave the countries to sort themselves out loads want away.

Can't win.

So simply stop allowing so many in.

Simply burning a religious text in public should not be an aggravating feature, no

Walking into a cathedral during the middle of mass and burning a Bible would be an aggravating feature, as would standing outside a mosque and burning a Quran as worshippers enter

Although I wouldn't personally burn a religious text of any faith, in no way should it be illegal for someone to chose to do simply that

sounds like he's done it deliberately to cause offence. Can't say I've any sympathy for him.

Take your point re blasphemy laws, but if he turned up on match day and set fire to e.g. Lofty's 58 cup final shirt he'd get a good kicking, and deservedly so.

Aye wonder if they picked Albania or Vietnam for this series?

But he shouldn't (and in reality wouldn't) be charged for the offence caused

Maybe, not sure he wouldn't, especially if it resulted in a massive kick off.

Either way, the world would be a better place if folk didn't go round trying to make other folk angry.

I think it's possible to express contempt without deliberately wanting to anger people

It might anger people as a consequence but that's a different thing

No idea .
just mentioned the show as it’s pertinent to the discussions on here with some of the people holding the same views as some posters and the same arguments made on it.
I found it interesting, and bemusing  , was wondering if anyone else did but, apparently it’s made by communist 4 , deals with the wrong countries and everyone knows why everyone’s leaving anyway so I’m obviously behind the curve 😄

what conclusion did you come to?

That the drunken Midlander was an absolute cunt whichever way you slice it. The driver is grafting and earning a living so earns my respect.

You didn't expect that, did you?

The contrary cunt will choke on his organic muesli when he gets up and reads this. He was polishing up his 'R' word pistol (I suspect that pistol polishing is a big part of his existence).

The conclusion I reached was that the drunk was the instigator. Full stop.

Move all the production team to Mogadishu.

Such common sense. Probably has no place on here.

Is nt the point that this about the ‘send them back home’ brigade. Albania and Vietnam both have return agreements in place.

Suppose you have to find them first.

Aye.

We can't ever have a returns agreement with everyone neither. As things stand.

I’d send etetee back to wales

Its all democratic ,all about the will of the people.

So we will just cancel those local elections , that we know we will lose.

Meanwhile in an African asylum state we cry out for elections

I see you've been sucking on Nigel's teat and swallowing a bit too much. They've not been cancelled. They've been postponed because of changes to Council Authorities. It happens every time these types of changes are made.

Thank you so much for explaining it all to me.

Who is Nigel ?

Cancelled.
