I have met a few of the folk on this thread some more than others. Watched Italia 90 in a pub with Mick Brown, many years ago (35 would you believe) , visited Boby Byro in his old job alongside Miami. Ironically given thread been to the Dam with Miami but we just got cabaged and did not fight anyone.

It is quite funny though - and oddly everyone is actually decent. I remember doing my run for testicular cancer and the WW lot put in the most.

I do wonder if that is still too lenient though: having an idea/talks is one thing, but once the weapons are made/acquired, then surely that's close enough to the real thing to give them longer.

Was it just the effectiveness of the authorities that prevented their "success":  dead people and longer sentences?

If we robustly dealt with repeat violent offenders, we'd see a huge improvement in public safety

Absolutely,  everyone I've met off here, and that is hell of a lot, are all decent, and always had a good chat and laugh with.

But the judge did throw out the defences suggestion it was a fantasy and they'd never actually do it

One slight problem there.

You'll need to get a conviction first.

VG's lawyers have expressed some interest in him possibly dropping his family in the shit during his car crash interview, but they haven't managed to do anything with it.

If he has tried something illegal with the police, then that may represent to best way to get him to court.

That would be over here though, and on a different charge.

A conviction here may represent an opening for her lawyers, but I wouldn't hold my breath that he would see justice in a US court.

Would they have to apply for extradition too?
