Nah. There was a time when people would say similar stuff about a guy working in a primary school, now it's barely ever frowned upon and even seen as a good thing.

The fella Zico was referring to was married (I'm assuming straight) and had a kid. I know two blokes who run a nursery that specialises in outdoor education and the kids absolutely thrive there. Mine is on the waiting list. I also knew a 'camp lad' who worked in a nursery who was fckin brilliant at his job. Went on to become an education psychologist. He was exactly what the kids needed at the time. 

There are obvious biological differences in parenting of course, common sense stuff. But human's still evolved in communities where children would be constantly learning off men and women way before they were 4 or 5. Kids get higher levels of oxytocin when playing with male care givers (Sounds dodgy I know 😆 ). There's even studies showing play groups that included male role models have more outside time, physical activity and better health and welbeing outcomes. 

Probably best to have more women, but it'd be great if places had more of a mix. We'd have happier, healthier and more resilient men as a result.

Ended up with something like this when I got called for jury duty. The kids will remember for the rest of their lives, even at 2 or 3 - they don't ever forget & the effects emotionally can be grim. The parents will never properly recover. No idea if he distributed the images online or not either...

Our justice system has got it so wrong when it comes to child abuse.

We're way too soft, and it's out of control.

Maybe kids should stay at home but that’s not always ending well.

1 in 20 children are or have been victims of sexual abuse apparently. That’s an absolutely awful statistic. Most often, it’s from people they know and trust, such as family members or family friends etc. 

so in the average school double intact year there’ll be approximately 3 kids currently being victims of sexual abuse. 
 

I can’t get my head around that at all. It’s frightening.

Tell you what pal. The missus has had to have the flu jab for a couple of decades due to her profession. I have always avoided it but gave in to her pleas this year and had one for the very first time. Never ever again. Made me as sick as a fucking dog.

My parents, both in their 70s, have been like zombies for the last few days, 24hrs after taking the flu Jab. They said they’re always feel a bit ropey after taking it but this last one has really knocked them for 6.

There's just some arenas in life that should be left to women.

Maybe I'm old school but whenever I saw a fella working at my lads nursery it just never felt right. Why on earth a fella wants to work with babies and toddlers is beyond me anyway, get a proper job ya weirdo.
