Yep.

The only reason we still have boats is the lack of political will from governments to do anything about it properly. 

Will reform succeed? Who knows, I guess time will tell.

One thing for sure; they at least have said they will take those stronger political decisions.

As for the EU, it didn't stop Italy, Greece etc from being invaded.

They did something about it though.

Hungary also did something about it. Yes they were run by an authoritarian bell end in general, but at least they stood strong against it. They were fined by the EU for doing so too.

It could be an act against a follower of a different sect of Islam- it is a great source of strife out there, however if he has known the other victim for 20 years, then it is perfectly conceivable that some sort of personal issue has come to a head. Particularly if the knife man has snapped and decided to go on a rampage.

I thought you said he snapped ? My point is why is the third attack not being reported.to the same level as the other two ? 
I am not defending him , I agree he snapped, I agree he is anti Semitic based on previous behaviour.

Unfortunately leaving the ECHR or if we had remained in the EU would not stop boats arriving

Most likely just because it was less visible and because the attacks on the two Jewish victims were thought to be a continuation of the recent attacks on the Jewish community, meaning they were part of a bigger story

Fair point, but given the prominence of the story it seems strange that the third attack has so little coverage. But certainly the two happening in the street is a factor , having CCTV seems to make any story more newsworthy. 
 

I also read the guy was put away before for stabbing a police dog. Radicalisation of folk with clear mental health issues is a massive threat.
