I didn't even know there were teacher strikes going on? There haven't been any at my lads school.

How would we notice anyway? 😉
They're hardly in.

The absolute state of these bells. “Let me get my Palestine flag and then go and strike over my pay”

What kind of child in their right mind protests getting a day off school? 😁

PS - can't watch the video because I'm not on Twitter.

They're striking but it's not over Palestine.

Wilful misrepresenting of the truth by GB news once again.

Who said they were striking over Palestine?

The GB news presenter basically implied it

I think he’s implying that only a bunch of weird fuckers would take Palestine flags and far left flags to a strike about pay and redundancies

I can't see the report. Does he talk to the workers about why they're on strike? Or is he mainly there to report on the flags? Or the kids?

There is no report. He’s done it from his personal account.

Ah OK.

Obviously without seeing the footage it's hard to tell. But I find it massively unlikely that a load of kids suddenly started protesting that their school shut down for the day (or more). Most kids I know would take the day off and go playing Xbox/football.

I think it's much more likely their parents are activists and put them up to it and then tipped off this bloke so that he could swing by and video it to stir up faux outrage. Which seems to have been suitably stirred.

The teachers haven't exactly covered themselves in glory either tbh.

No idea why they've decided to bring Palestine up. And I always find British people wearing a keffiyeh a bit cringe.

This bloke didn’t swing by and film it

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some skullduggery going on somewhere, but I think these are sixth form students rather than younger teenagers, so I think the dynamic there is a bit different

Yeah maybe. It does all feel a bit engineered to me. Albeit having only seen the short clip Boby posted.

I suppose you could get some extremely engaged teens counter protesting. But the article I've read in the Telegraph seems to suggest it was a parent protest that they've got the kids along to. Which seems more plausible.

'Basically implied' :D FFS.

More correctly highlighting the correlation between all major leftie 'protests/strikes' and rent a mob tacit support for Hamas and Hezbollah.

What about winklepickers?

Long term friendships can be at risk for less :D
