Because I am going off what the retired officer said. He was going off guidelines not examples, I think that’s the third time I’ve said it now.

So you think ‘two tiered policing’ is a problem but you can’t give any examples of it being widespread ?

I don’t agree with what Lammy said no. I think crime in London seems to be a bit of a mess & if police suspect whoever of something then they need to be allowed to do their job

Oh dear…..different crimes have different reactions from the police maybe? you silly nonce

well yes id expect differing reactions to obstructing the highway and to murder

I’m only talking about 1 issue, 2 tier policing, you however think it can only be applied to one race. Very odd.

I don't and the fact you clearly can't understand that says a lot more about you than me.

Can you show me where I said it’s either a problem or widespread?

So you think Lammy is talking shite when he expressed his concerns about black people being 4 times more likely to be stop and searched?

"Two-Tier policing must be an actual thing because both tiers complain about it" 🤡

Two tier policing is claimed when one side doesn't get the preferential treatment they think they are entitled to

He's making no sense whatsoever, as usual. Just regurgitating the Far Right "2-tier policing" nonsense, then tying himself up in knots by admitting every case is different.

David Lammy far right 😆😆

Correct. It's absolute nonsense from both sides. But some as-yet-unnamed ex-copper said it was a real issue on some random radio programme last week, so we should all do a riot.

Worth a watch.

I’ve told you it was 909, if you’re not happy with the unnamed copper just google the different politicians talking about it.

Plod should be allowed to do what it is best at and "plod"... this is why I am against politicising police forces and over-burdening the constables... they have to carry out a thankless task. Glad to see the back of Commissioners and any politician trying to make mileage of a bad situation that went even badder.

Your patience is legendary sir. Don't worry about the idiotic 'racist' screechers. They will be left behind.

It does seem the to do thing of the challenging parties. Labour did it for years when the tories were in. The tories and Reform are both doing it now

That’s where you tend to go wrong on a lot of discussions, you just do a lot of assuming and then go into one.

I know I'm not welcome on here but maybe a few facts may help the discussion along perhaps?

In August 2024 the Polling company 'More In Common' undertook a poll in respect of what Britons 'really thought about the Riots' following the Southport tragedy, one of the questions was on 'two tier' policing under the heading. 'Do you think the police in the UK...'

The information is broken down to how voters of the now five major political party's responded.

I won't spoil the surprise for anyone, all the information is contained in the poll summary findings I link below to.

What do Britons really think about the riots? - More In Common

Who are 'More in Common' you may ask?

More in Common is an international non-profit research and strategy organisation dedicated to understanding the social and psychological forces driving political polarization and societal division. It was founded in 2016 in the aftermath of the murder of British Member of Parliament Jo Cox, taking its name from her maiden parliamentary speech: "We are far more united and have far more in common with each other than things that divide us."

About Us - More In Common

Oh and I've got a Bingo card already made out that includes...

Polls can be wrong

Lies, damn lies, and Statistics.

And fuck off back to your financial bollocks you cunt.

(I'm expecting a full house!).

The lads death had nothing to do with the Police response. Read the court paper, it's well evidenced that the attack was fatal.

If the speech is about the other guy being allowed to carry two blades and that being the conversation starter between the two, then fair enough..

Nobody has said you're not welcome, but every post you make is like War & fucking Peace.
People prefer concise replies.

I was more meaning I wasn't welcomed on this particular thread - my last post on here was almost universally ignored - ok it was a long one but it set out the judges reasoning for the sentence he issued - I'd have though people would have found it crucial in understanding why that sentence was issued and allow them to reflect on whether or not the judge ruled on the law (for that is what judges do) correctly or not.

Not one person had the balls to say what they now thought after hearing the judges reasoning, funny that I thought. (not funny ha-ha btw).

As for writing War and fucking Peace, I can't 'Janet and John' stuff of a complex nature such as a multi-million pound companies turnover, detailed in 40 odd pages of annual accounts, (which our club is required to do under Company Law), into two or three sentence, containing words of three syllables or less, for the slow kids at the back of the class to try and understand (no offence to any slow kids on here).

You either want to know stuff, or you don't.

For those that do (and there is clearly more than a few that do because I'm receiving multiple 'likes') I try my best to explain stuff in plain English, which means I have to break everything down to basics and explain stuff like 'amortisation' that they may not have heard of before (Christ we even had someone on here who didn't understand the Swiss were actually part of FV and not a rival to them!), doing stuff like that is why my posts are often so long.

I get it that most people aren't interested and get angry that I post stuff that they don't want to read but others do, so I'm happy to to post in the Football Ventures or the 'Nonce' thread that some kind person has created for me, simply to keep the peace. (I've been called worse).

Concise replies often only contains the information the author wants to convey and often hides the stuff they don't want you to know about but if thems your rules, I'll try to abide by them.

Every one happy now?

What's worse than being called a nonce?

Royal White calls people a nonce on a daily basis, mainly when he’s losing a debate.

Being a nonce is worse than being called one.

See what I mean.

The judges reasoning is set out

The information on two tier policing is linked to...

And yet I'm the sole focus of attention.

It feels a bit like Trump going to war on Iran simply to take the attention away from the Epstein files.

Deflection

/dəˈflekSHən/

Deflection means making something change direction. In everyday conversations and psychology, it means avoiding blame or an uncomfortable topic by shifting the focus onto someone or something else
