I thought the Derby fans were loud when they chipped up, but not very often.

As for our fans, it's pretty noisy in the ESL/ESU but don't hear a peep from any other section.

NSL was noisy for a bit in the second half, but it's hard to judge from where you're sat. Today was easily the best home atmosphere so far this season. It was fucking dead against Exeter, although the cold probably played a big part in that.

Used to be able to hear NSL but can't these days. Sing up 😆

Maybe your hearing's going? We are a bit shit though.

Whilst I'm still merrily drunk, public service announcement to you fellow WWayers (don't tell everyone 😁)

For folk that go in fanzone, why do you all insist on joining a massive queue for the bar that will take you about 15 mins when the "express" bar is dead as fuck???

Eyesight is not far behind

But isn’t that express bar just Madri shite?

Yes it is. But the only other choice at the main bar is an IPA, that isn't the greatest, so personally I choose to not queue for Madri rather than wait 15 mins or so for a sub par ale.

Each to there own, but my point is, I'd wager 90% of folk in that queue are waiting for lager so I don't understand why they don't walk 30 yards to an empty bar for it.

I'd wager those 90% have already considered it, and don't want to drink Madri shite.

Walked past Fanzone. It looks bloody brilliant. Just cant be drinking ale in the cold.

Today was an example why we need out of this league, playing shit clubs with no fans like accy, fleetwood etc, we get promoted everything goes hand in hand that south stand will be half/full most weeks

Well that's fair enough, but as I say it's not like there's a bar with much choice so I'd politely disagree. Add to that the fact I was stood in front of someone that kicked up a fuss to get a Carling top last week, my faith in our fan base's ale taste is none to high. 😂

Funny that, my Mrs kicks off with me cos I refuse to go to bullshit Christmas markets with her for that very reason but then will, as she puts it, "stand with a bunch of idiots in the driving rain, talking bollocks, drinking just cos it's football". She may have a point 😂

Stop fucking lumping it to Bradley.

we’ve gone from tippy tappy between gk and cbs to booting it to Bradley.

stop it.

hes shit in the air

There were more staff than customers at the bar when I got there today. I was late mind, and there were plenty in drinking. I just had one pint, but when I looked at the confirmation on my phone they had only charged me for half. Sorry Sharon but he pointed at the machine and I tapped.

If someone had told me last season that there would be maybe 100 people standing outside  in the cold drinking ice cold lager at a fiver a pint at the end of December I'd have laughed my bollocks off.

He won it more often than not from what I remember. We did go far too longball in the second half though. Massive periods of head tennis. There were plenty of occasions when Iredale was the obvious outlet, but we went to an overloaded Bradley instead. League 1 innit.

I honestly think it's been a great addition and puts a few extra quid in the clubs coffers.

Been going for the last 5 or 6 games now and enjoy it, always bump into a few familiar faces, new and old, and generally adds to the match day experience. The outdoors and cold thing doesn't really register with me. I'm about to sit in it for 2 hours anyway so an extra hour or so seems no bother.

They do need to find a way of heating it

Ive been in twice and lack of heating means ill not be back til spring

Im guessing folk only go there cos service is quicker than the hotel?

The subs killed any chance we had. Lee goes off and we lost the midfield. Hes our best creator.

Dempsey is fuckin crap btw.

I thought JDB added some quality, as he usually does, and Williams made loads of timely challenges/interceptions.  But yes we missed Lee, difficult to replace and definitely not with Dempsey.  He runs around a lot looking busy, but is by some distance our worst midfielder in possession.  A mystery to me why some on here expect great things of him, not sure what he brings to the table.

One last thing, can the sadlier fanclub tell me why they think evatt doesnt play him much

No whataboutery, its a simple enough question

I really don’t know. He seems to create chances each time he comes on. Perhaps when he changes it, Evatt brings on Bod and/or Baka, so wants to go long - rather than choosing someone who will pick it up 25 yards out and either run then cross it, or cut inside and have a pop from 25 yards.

The going long to Bradley thing was frustrating because if we play both Lee and Sheehan in midfield we have to get it into them to feet and then trust them to do something with the possession, especially because out of possession good teams will find it very easy to play straight through us.

Perhaps we just didn't have the confidence to play it into them from the back?

One thing I don't think has been mentioned enough is just hod good Johnston was. He seems to have stepped things up a gear of late and is looking more and more like the top prospect I thought he was the first time I saw him.

The 3 centre halves have done well since Santos got poorly sick

Yeah they seem to want to play the ball away rather than making contact with the player first. Solid old fashioned defending.

They were the shittest large away following ever seen at our place btw.

Ive heard 200 Fleetwood make more noise.

Villa this season, Sunderland last season equally quiet.  Numbers don't equal atmosphere as we've proved ourselves.

Yeh the lads at the back have obviously been told to hit it long to CB, but watching him trying to challenge for high balls gets a bit tedious.

We play best when we move the ball short, fast, and on the deck.

I get it that the long ball to CB is an outlet ball, but when it’s 6ft high when it reaches him, it usually ends up with us losing posession.

Back line played very well

I wouldn’t rush santos back
