One assumes that you weren't aware that it doesn't automatically make him left wing or even if he was, do his job professionally without his personal views affecting this.
Just for example I don't think you'll find an economics correspondent that's more centre ground than Robert Peston. If you think he's a commie it's because you're quite right wing.
Given the proposed further cuts to the public services that Osborne is hinting at its only right that there should be comment on it from journalists. What Osborne wants is a lap dog public broadcaster and that's why he and the right wing papers have gone after the BBC on this.
I remember reading a report on night clubs and the demographics of people who go to them and there was a big drop off in the 35-45 age group before it picked up again in the 45-55 group, presumably divorcees.
