paulhanley Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 .... sacked their manager today. Five points about the relegation zone with one win since November in League One. Such are the intricacies of Lancashire rivalries that it passes pretty much unnoticed among Bolton fans despite PNE being just 15 miles or so up the road. Most other places in the UK and we'd probably be arch-rivals and gloating at them. Always quite liked them except on a matchday with us .. yet can't stand Wigan, Blackpool, Burnley, Blackburn, Bury. Any Bolton fans out there feel differently? Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I like Preston For A: The promotion game And B: The play off promotion game That Wesltey is a cunt though glad he's got the bullet Quote
HomerJay Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 That bloke is a big a cunt as you'd ever care to meet...apparently Quote
sirnatlofty Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Dads a Nob Ender. Jacked in his season ticket because of Westley. Its a shame their owner doesn't invest half the cash in the club as he does in his Grand National runners. Quote
no balls Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Any misfortune that befalls PNE makes me smirk. Quote
sirnatlofty Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Any misfortune that befalls PNE makes me smirk. Agreed, but if your not gonna be in the prem, then you might as well be playing the local teams for decent home and away days. Quote
gonzo Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Heard earlier this week,Westley made the players call him 'Winner' instead of 'Gaffer'... He also sacked a load of players and staff via text in the summer. Cock end. Don't mind Preston, this lot round here hate them that much they call them Nobbers....now thats nasty. Quote

gonzo Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Been to a couple Blackpool/Preston derbies years ago and I can confirm the hatred is mutual! They were playing a cracking game of kiss chase on Moor Park once, with golfing brollies being weapon of choice, around 99ish. Quote
fishbulb Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Don't mind PNE. Well, now they don't have sperm of Satan Fegusson in charge anyroad. Prefer them to Donkey Lashers. Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Any misfortune that befalls PNE makes me smirk. Ditto. Orrible little club, orrible fans fark em. Quote

Maybe a tribute to the late Michael Winner? A Death Wish fanatic? Quote
Alf Hartigan Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Heard earlier this week,Westley made the players call him 'Winner' instead of 'Gaffer'... Surely that can't be true, I've heard rumours that he's a nob, but folk wouldn't respond positively to that. He looks like the type of bloke who might say it though. Quote
Alf Hartigan Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I bet he's said it as a one off in training or at half time, and it's been blown out of proportion that he insists on it all the time. Nobody could be such a bell end. Quote
Alf Hartigan Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Any personal experiences Homer? Have you met him in a lift in Australia? Quote
bolty58 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 Any personal experiences Homer? Have you met him in a lift in Australia? I see the grey matter still refuses to expand. A lift in the Dusit Thani in Bangkok. Might come as a shock matey but it is in Thailand, not Australia. Quote
