  1. My brain short circuited in a bar at Grand Central today looking for the Leicester score (shitfan not knowing) and explaining to my beloved why a Bolton fan with a dildo could distract a trip to NYC. The added embarrassment of crying laughing didn't help either. Not even thinly veiled i know but its been a long day.

This years 'novelty club', plucky losers to the end. I fucking loved it when we were hated in the prem rubbing Benitez and Wengers noses in it, not to mention relegating the media darlings.
  3. you will male it magical, although i feel your pain. keep smiling, kids are clever and can work out what's best.

To lighten the mood a little, I was thinking about players' trademark finishes for us, two spring to mind; Tony Philliskirk, header looping the ball back over the keeper (SJM did this a few times too) Andy Walker, loved to slot the ball low in the corner, simple but effective.
  5. David Lee, coming from a big club like Southampton after a loan spell, was sure the cup run would have a legacy.
  6. I hope we win for Flicker, fookin lied to and treated like shit. What the fook do them no mark sheep shaggers think they are, salary cap at £4k and think they belong in the second tier. Lets hope Ian Stevens scores the sitter he missed and the kill the bill parade don't get bitten by the dogs.
  7. A friend once rang clubcall thinking we had signed Nigel Clough at work and didn't pit thebreceiver down properly, hence a £400 bill and not many other Bolton fans to blame. I had to pay it back on installments, bastard clubcall and their fancy ****PLAYER SINGS**** Headlines.
  8. Some players would make my heart sink the minute i saw them on the team sheet. Viduka, Fowler, Drogba all semmes to enjoy playing against us. But I would have to goo with Lampard, they had a big win to win the title at our place, and he laughed when his boyhood WHU were relegated by us.
  9. Sounds fun down there, you'll be making out you get free ale next.

Watching the Corteeners last week, surrounded by pilled up Mancs screaming along. Put me off for life. Lad at work from Liverpool calls folk from surrounding areas (Kirby etc.) scousers as an insult, he cant stand em.
  11. Ok I'm at the point where I've lost confidence in the system. I like our manager but our slow build up play lets a team get back and organise before we threat. We are playing one up top home and away, i cant think what Mason brings that Young's wouldn't. You can almost sense when the players don't have conviction in the system, they don't know whether they are in or out. We cant go on forever waiting for things to get better, sadly reality will dictate that chances have run out.

Ill go first, yes id have him here IF the club decided they had had enough of Dougie (not that I have)
  13. Its never made me piss, must have the wrong technique.

Is there a picture of Emma Davies with a big spoon anywhere?

I could think of subtler ways of getting sent off, windmilling someone in the groin takes some explaining. Fair play to the other lad who didn't start rolling all over the floor on impact, poor fooker looked confused by the whole thing.
  19. 2 set ups at Walton Summit this morning. While I don't agree with driving over the limit at any time, is this in the interests of road safety or 'getting the numbers up'?

Was excellent on tuesday and deserves respect. Doncaster were the worst team we've played in 20 years.
  21. On ppg the last 4 managerial appointments have been failures. I am clinging to the hope that Dougie will turn it round. I do fear when we play two zonal holding midfielders who cant tackle on their feet or pass the ball whilst chasing a game we resort to lumping the ball up to 2 strikers, neither of which can compete in the air. Dougie comes across as an old head on young shoulders who sees the bigger picture, like there is a bigger plan behind the scenes. That plan needs to show itself pretty fucking soon or we are all cunted.
  22. Unsettled team with an impotent bowling attack, too many left handed batsmen who are also out of form. That's what they said about the Aussies all summer.
  23. Hope he can rest in peace. Not quite ready for all the OTT world mourning. I don't give a fuckery what Gerri Halliwell et al think about it.
  24. To obsess about Coyle makes people look petty like they haven't moved on. But fuck it, I'm getting a lot of pleasure out of his struggles at Wigan. His midas touch didn't let him down today, the Wigan board will know that after this season its an uphill battle to go up like we were presented with last summer. His ability to replace quality with shite seems to be repeating itself also. I wish i could find a transcript from Clarke Carlisles book describing his training methods. The mans a cunt, a very nice, smiley, teetotal, fistpumping useless cunt. If only we hadn't found out the hard way.
