Don't mind so much squad rotation but I cant ever see the point in not having a settled back line when all players are fit and available. Pleased with the win but why are we trying to revert back to a system that failed so spectacularly early season?
  2. Hahahaha Wigan cunts, fuck you and your tin pot outfit.
  3. Its not our loan players that have let us down this season.

For the first time in a long time we out battled Wigan on the pitch. We were first to most tackles and 50:50's which made the result very pleasing. I had no confidence whatsoever when i saw the teamsheet so credit where its due.
  6. Thanks, I got to the word think then I was lost. I don't ever remember lightning when it was so cold, maybe I've been sitting on Fred Talbots knee for too long.
  7. How the fuckery is there thunder and lightning in Arctic temperatures, I thought it had to be stuffy?
  8. Piss poor atmosphere, Juke and Danns look fooked. Got the ball down better when Danns and Medo swapped positions for a while, Blackpool trying to take advantage of our all nonsense defending.
  9. Its etiquette to pretend your asleep on the back seat if you want to let out a rancid fart. Only when the windows have closed do you risk an eye.

Without trawling through rest of the posts, what is stopping anyone over 55 putting an extra 10k per year into a salary sacrifice scheme and drawing it down tax free? Seems a bit too good to be true this for those of a certain age or is there devil in the detail?
  11. Moving house tomorrow (my excuse), cant wait for all the 'you had to be there' 'best away day since Hull Friday night' posts....
  12. Cost me £35 ea to upgrade.
  13. At least weve found out who stole Dougies bingo machine.

Ill cut him some slack seeing we only played saturday. Lets hope the bingo machine isn't getting slated at full time. Expect the Leeds team selection against Brighton.

There's an Austrian and an Italian not flying again, final destination stylee.
  17. Did the US national team pick up his wages since his last injury was while playing for them? I can only imagine this latest comeback was pressured by the timing of the world cup rather than a need for him to get fit for our run in.

There are large construction projects in the area, Heysham, Airport City, Mersey Link etc. Problem is they are always going to go to one of the big five outfits. This means that demand will force material price increases and staff departures from the rest of us. I certainly don't see things getting any worse, I just wish all firms would price for a minimum margin and not cut each others throats. There has always been work around, its just finding the right pockets and being light on your feet in terms of developing certain specialist skills. Tendering is going back to the dark ages again for some reason, open tendering has seen lists as long as 20odd pricing the same work, fuck that. There are problems with a rising market also, the lack of skills is frightening, prices could rise very quickly which makes tendering very difficult to predict. We've got last years turnover secured already but on tight margins there's always that worry you can end up busy fools.

Can you still get the 'fish n chip' variety anywhere? My quest has gone far and wide but cant find any.
  20. He might want someone else to take the £50m / year losses, its a big assumption that he will carry on indefinitely just because he's in too deep. Not that losses will continue at that level but we're a long way from an even keel, the next level of parachute payment reduction will be much greater than a seasons gate receipts.
  21. I can see our club being in new ownership this year (just a hunch) Would the fans swap a £150m debt write off by Eddie to go into Administration? Gartside would be left without a paddle.

It just doesn't feel like a Bolton team any more, I've never known a side where we don't at least have a go, good players, bad players whatever. We go behind and there is no spirit or determination to get back into the game. The players don't want the ball and aren't moving to make space so defenders boot it long, last night it felt like we were defending a 1 goal advantage rather than chasing a result. The manager is repeatedly slagging off the players in public saying club have deep scars but it seems he is either rubbing salt in or cutting them open again.

Ah the Medo - Spearing combo starts, lets hope one of them can stand up in the tackle. Please prove me wrong Dougie
