  1. The lad I know is from Halifax so you could well be right
  2. I know a lad who swears by the fact it was a relative of his who invented them. I only assume it must be true because why would you admit to anything else? He still hasn't replied to my text about how they are fixed in though.
  3. Its green? I was reading Roger's Profanisaurus on the viz website before I logged onto this one. Not from personal experience though
  4. DirtySanchez replied to a post in a topic in Behind The Stands - 'Classics'
Had an exam the morning after we beat Reading in the play-off final. Needless to say, I didn't do very well.
  5. Stayed here a couple of years ago Visit My Website Its about five minutes from the main square. Rooms are more on the basic side but the price is reasonable and reflects this. And i had a p?ss in the corner of the room after a good session on the Zywiec.
  6. Not defeding Man U but the same so-called 'weakened' team managed to hold a full strength Everton team throughout 90 minutes then extra time. Then it was the so-called experienced players who missed the penalties. Maybe the team wasn't that weak after all, bearing in mind Everton's position in the league. When a team like them has strength in depth this will happen, and I've no doubt that if we had a squad large enough then we would do the same.
  7. Birmingham, when they opened that new stand behind the goal and had Jasper Carrot telling 'jokes' on the pitch before the game. Went with an old uni mate who was a Birmingham fan and for some reason he bought me a ticket in the home end. Think it was a sunday match and on sky so getting an away ticket would never have been a problem. Luckily it was a boring 0-0 game so didn't get any problems.
  8. Not been since the late 90s when I was at uni there, but as Satan says the road outside the train station, London Road, has quite a number of pubs in either direction. Going right will take you down Granby Street towards the city centre and you'll come across quite a few. The city centre was much of a muchness then so no place really stood out. Mind, it was ten years ago so it could be completely different now. Wonder if the Akash is still going on London Road, they used to do some decent curries. Although they once barred me.
  9. Humberside also took in the parts of Lincolnshire that are immediately south of the Humber. As a 'county' it doesn't exist anymore but the police and fire brigade still carry the name and patrol the same area
  10. Better still, when she was up the duff he should have pushed her into poland saying "watch out for the pregnant lady" Then when she dropped he could have used one of those three wheeled prams and invaded russia.
  11. They think its acceptable to offer money to a poster to look at said poster's girlfriends tits in pubs after the hull match
  12. Saw both of them drinking in a bar in Hull about three weeks ago, so it could well be
  13. Once went watching Hull FC back in the days when they played at the boulevard. Was that long ago they might even had been called the sharks then. Forget who they were playing but went in the threpney (?) stand and soon learnt a whole new raft of swear words and phrases!
  14. Similar story with Norwich as well. Mind you having lived in that area for a while, there's f?ck all else to do on a saturday afternoon.
  15. According to the ever reliant wikipedia he moved from leicester to luton as part of the deal that took thompson in the opposite direction. But he did go to sheff wed and his dad was in showaddywaddy.
  16. Thought scott oakes arrived on the scene much later than that. Did alright in a cup tie for luton then got a transfer to sheff wed around mid to late 90s. And his dad might have been in showaddywaddy. Unless I'm thinking of someone completely different.
  17. North Yorkshire, up near Northallerton and that neck of the woods, so I'm told.
  18. Hull fan tells me that as the medical revealed a tear to his cartilage they can't get insurance on an injured player
  19. Would appear that they don't have insurance to cover the costs Visit My Website
  20. I wonder how much it would have cost to insure Bullard in the first place though
  21. One Friday I left my car on work car park so that I could go for a few beers afterwards. Had a few too many and waking up on saturday morning, looked out the window and thought my car had been stolen. Was half way through a 999 call before I remembered it was still at work.
  22. Based on the woolies principle of selling at lot of nothing at over inflated prices, WH Smith must be a favourite to go soon as well
  23. Living and working in the area, the Hull fans i know are running out of patience with his excuses. He loved it when they were going well but since they've hit a bad patch he's looking for someone to blame. So what if the linesman is 40 yards away and the ref is nearer, if the ref has half a dozen players stood his in his way, distance means f?ck all. How far away was Brown when he saw the incident? Further away than the linesman I bet. I still reckon they'll go down.
  24. So by your admission he's a creative midfielder that we need but because he plays for Wigan we shouldn't sign him? It's all about systems, if he fits into our system then that will do for me. Whether he plays for Wigan who might use a different system is irrelevant.
