  2. worked with a lad up until a couple of years ago, who was born on Astley Moss, at the age of 24, he had never been further than Tyldesley, not even to Leigh, Bolton or anywhere, just Astley moss, Tyldesley for school and shopping and back to the moss. He then got sacked from our place, packed his stuff and emigrated to Canada, where he still is and hasnt been back since he left

depends what you want to carry in it, but I have an 8 seater toyota lucida that the sears can be removed/folded up that i'm getting rid of fairly cheap. Probably wont be any use if your keeping tools in it as it has got windows at the side, but if its just for carting stuff about has a fair amount of space when the seats are folded up to the side. other than that Bradley fold garage on Radcliffe Moor Rd has a couple of escorts in for around ?650
  4. QUOTE (frank_spencer @ Jul 21 2009, 04:07 PM) they also flash even if there's no film in the camera the camera part isnt always switched on, although the flash usually is, with the hope that the flash will slow you down, when the camera is on, the image doesnt need to be collected or reviewed, just number plate recognition into a computer program and letter printed and sent to the registered keeper. once caused mayhem in manchester, putting up a set of temporary lights and just threw bags over the existing signals, our lights on green whilst under the bags the lights were on red so everyone who went through got flashed and a ticket. Mr popular i was when they had to refund all that, and not to mention the twatting the service layers nearly got each time it flashed.
  5. cheers, he has most of that, the helpline has said give him some calpol and see how he is, now i know they are busy and must be getting a lot of panicking parents as soon as they see a sniffle, but surely they'd realise that he's had this for 2 days and we have already tried calpol? hope your on the mend soon anyway
  6. glad she's on the mend, can i ask you what were the oiginal symptoms? my little lad has, a bad stomach, sore throat and a temperature, not excessive, but high enough to cause a bit of concern, swollen top lips and complaining his "brain feels funny" he's had this for 2 days now dont want to panic about any of this swine flu, but just wondered if yours had anything similar to that
  7. 2 confirmed cases in my place, both the people from Bolton. they got sent home today and not come back until sure they are clear, so I expect there will be a few more "cases" tomorrow, especially if it's sunny.
  8. I went to a hypnotist show once, was very sceptical about it, 'til i got volunteered, ended up talking martian, thinking water was coming on stage and all kinds of shit. probably wouldnt work for everyone and some of the things just didnt work on me (unfortunatly one of the things that didnt was the glasses that make you see women naked ) but they say it cant make you do anything you dont really want to or at least not comfortable with, for example, one of the "tricks" he did on me, throughout the performance was that when i heard a certain tune, I would go over to this box full of ties, get a tie and put it on. When I "came round" at the end, I had about 20 f?ckin ties round my neck that I couldnt remember putting on, but there was one left in the box that had a man utd badge on and according to the people with me who were watching, he tried 5 times with this tune to get the last one on me, when the tune played i still went to the box, but instead of putting it on I just picked it up, said "munich shit" and went back to my chair, much to the amusement of the audience, but I just wouldn't put this one on, but couldn't remember that or putting any of the others on. would certainly recommend it for a laugh if nowt else, and if you get chance, volunteer, because if it does work its a wierd experience.
  9. http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=35100 quality that, often heard a lot about this match but never seen any footage before. Crowd looks amazing too

  11. dont know weyher they'll get done or not, and not really that arsed either way, but , what pissed me off about this story was the fact that it was on first on the radio news before the news that two more lads were killed in Afghanistan, and they spent more time talking about 2 dead dogs and that people were leaving flowers at the nick were the dogs "worked" than the details of the two lads.
  12. whats the difference betweet alex fergerson and michael jackson? fergerson will be playing giggs in August
  13. http://www.discoverireland.ie/DI/resultsen...?CategoryID=419 for what you've saved on the flight, personally, if i was going over for a weekend the only place in Dublin city I would go is to the train station to go somewhere else, Dublin city area is very expensive as said previous in the thread, check the link out and either stay somewhere out in Dublin county or Wicklow (but not Bray as that's a kip)rather than the city its self so you can get in should you wish, or get to Galway or Cork or somewhere over the West, if you've got the time or inclination to travel acoss on the train, or change your flights to one of them.
  14. The met office have bowed to pressure from the PC brigade who complained about reporting the weather using the term "British Summer", in order not offend any minority group, it will now be refered to as "the Muslim summer" i.e., partly sunni, but mostly shi'ite
  15. A visitor to our local over from Oz once brought some Bundaberg rum, lovely with coke, and blows your f?ckin head off after a few.
  16. aye, was driving home in the dark and would've crashed if it wasn't for the light from his head lights reflecting in a cats eyes sitting on a wall, made him a billionaire. think he got a knighthood too, so its sir yorkshire c?nt.
  17. and there's me thinking I was the only one stupid dedicated enough to be involved in that game. Smiffs, which motorway are you taking them out of and when?

what have Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Chubby Brown got in common? They'll all be playing Blackpool next season
  19. I got one in Bolton for having it on the dash, that even the warden admitted was there, I appealed and filled out a form at the parking place on Chorley St, I got a letter from the council saying, more or less, that this time they would cancel it but as long as i had realised I had committed an offence by failing to display it in the windscreen, as this is what it clearly states on the reverse of the ticket, and that my details were on record and I wouldn't be able to appeal another one! I sent a nice letter back with a copy of the display ticket on which it says "clearly on the dashboard or windscreen" , I asked them where would I display it if I was in a vehicle without a windscreen, (like one of them buggies or a kit car or sommat),and finished off by saying to tell me I have no longer any right to appeal future tickets, considering the sham of this one, is more than likely contravention of my statutory rights as i am a customer of the car park, who purchases a service for one thing and most definitley is bullshit for another. I am still waiting for a reply from that letter. by the way, I really don't know if that is the legal situation regarding my right to appeal, I just thought I'd put it any way, and my advice is to challenge it as they seem to rely ioon peoples apathy in these situations.
