Winding Up Orders
Aye. But he'll want his slice too, quite rightly. As he says only vultures circling and I can't see a serious offer until this blue marble shit is sorted. Unless someone with silly money comes in- and as Barnsley are reportedly being looked at- anything is possible.

Just To Confirm Footballs Gone Mad
Sometimes hear about German football. Good crowds, decent prices, and a successful national team. Seem to manage OK without glorified 'premier league' status.

Cleaning Oil From Drive?
Pretty sure there'll be some proprietary product or degreaser suitable for this. Suppose a stain may always be visible, depending on what the substrate is and how much has soaked in. One thing I do if I get pine resin on my hands (tough to remove with soap and water) is pour a little veg oil onto my hands and work it into the resin, before washing with washing up liquid. Works a treat and may be worth trying on a small bit. Rub in some clean veg oil, perhaps with a stiff hand brush. If you see the engine oil coming out of the drive and dispersing into the veg oil that's a good sign. Then I'd rub in neat washing up liquid until it turns a dirty white colour. Then wash away with water.

Town Centre Latest
Seems to have taken ages to get it sorted. Will soon be full of splodged chewing gum and fag ends. A few trees to roost resident pasty crumb removal pigeons.

That's fair enough. Wonder what happens to the million dh supposedly took for sorting this out? Could the court not go after that?

Wanderers 1-2 Derby
That last bit is disappointingly non aspirational from you Bolty! Any team in the top flight is there on merit. Who knows in a few years we might be back there, with kevin Nolan (Sam's protege) at the helm, and a thirty two year old harry Kane leading the line!

Winding Up Orders
If their loan was with a liquidated company, then does that "guarantee" still exist? Dunno how all this works, but there's a little story about the wife's grandad. He was a business man who was fleeced by a dodgy financial advisor/investor. Grandad took him to court and won and by default ended up owning an egg company (golden lay?) as the con man couldnt pay fully. The company was basically defunct so he just owned the name in reality. Not sure of the details by seems some similarity. All we be revealed I suppose.

In reality, would that matter greatly? A minority shareholder, with shares that I'd imagine aren't worth a great deal at the moment. Just seems until a deal is agreed between ka and them not much changes. Unless we carry on in the same vein on the pitch and their value drops. This could be bollocks of course

Indeed. A watershed moment. Unless its delayed again. Hopefully, things will become clearer. Could give the whole club a boost.

Terror Attacks
As madhatter points out pal, its not one group or another. Can't say what nationalities they were, may have been poles, Estonians whatever. Fact remains that I and colleagues had to spend a disproportionate amount of time working (pissing in the wind) clearing up shitholes predominantly occupied by folk from foreign countries. One team was met with black bin liners filled with excrement being chucked into a back street by eastern Europeans. Inevitably when you experience something like this you draw conclusions; whether they are working or not wasn't the point I was making. Simply that too many folk have arrived quicker than the country can cope with and unfortunately if they are housed in areas already run down the problem seems to get worse. No doubt you've encountered grafters gonzo; I've got no issue with poles (eyes opened by my visit to the national memorial arboretum), but simply that not everyone coming in shares the same social values

As I wondered, wife's just arrived, and I mentioned supracondylar fractures- seen them on the internet, common in kids when falling down and putting hands down, and she reckoned the doctor may well have said that. Its swollen more while he's been there.

Splinters
No probs. Can you cut a few flags while you're at it?

Terror Attacks
Not specifically poles; lots of immigrants in too quickly, finish up in poor areas and making under privileged areas worse. Remember working in and around crescent road for a while. Absolute shithole with folk burning rubbish in the streets. Infrastructure isn't there to cope. Madhatter is referring to peoples perceptions, not necessarily realities.

Give over, them saws are toys. Get the old stihl chain saw on my splinter, that'll sort it! Anyway, seems a little piffling, doctor suspects lad has a fracture of his elbow. One for kent- it didn't show up on x-ray- but the quack said "sub chondral" fractures are known for sometimes not doing. Been on t'internet but seems to say sub chondral is to do with femurs so I'm non the wiser.

Funnily enough lad's at a & e now. Had an x-ray on his elbow. Tried to jump across a stream on his bike and fell off. We've all done somert equally stupid I suppose. Daley Sblinder.

Current Squad
Makes sense traf. Suppose removal of th'embargo is key to that. Who knows after this latest petition is sorted things could move fairly quickly.

Not even sure there's owt in to be honest, perhaps some bugs left in there by the initial thrust? How do you get one out if you can't see it? Its certainly hot red and swollen.... Phnaaa

Current Squad
Agree entirely. Ultimately, parky must doubt the ability or readiness or he'd have put them in the squad already. He's gone for a number of experienced/journeymen types, just hope it works out.

Stabbed a bit of wood down the side of my finger a few days ago. Can't see anything though the finger is swelling. If there is something in, does the body naturally break them down in time or am I going to develop digit aids?

No player should be mollycoddled though. Even a goal poacher.

Night And Day
Almost there; an absolute thrapping. Good to see Jesus get his ball back, after significant support from cardinals, bishops and bananas. Once non- men of the cloth got involved the stewards started to get concerned and saw the light.

This Weather.....
Maybe, just never had to cut up fallen trees of paths in summer before, and there are already plenty of leaves on the ground. Given the presence of ash dieback all over the town, in a few years there maybe trees blowing down all over the place.

Wanderers 1-2 Derby
Was away for the Leeds game and couldn't make it today so I've not seen them yet. I was told they seemed scared against Leeds and way off today. Is the effort there from the players? I was hoping that we might have started to play a bit more but it seems the long ball is still the starting point. Interestingly, despite Taylor being so good last year, I did feel he was a little slow, and without adequate cover may be exposed- the benefit of a spearing type. Still feel that the main problem is midfield though, insufficient skill, technical ability, and ability to get about the park in a meaningful manner.

This Weather.....
To be honest, never saw a forecast suggesting it might happen. It did piss it down where I was though. Hoping for an Indian summer now though. Is it me or has it been the windiest year ever?

I'd say some aspects of other cultures have been beneficial. Not convinced about multiculturalism though, perhaps it does depend on how you view it. For me allowing a large influx of people almost all of whom are housed together in areas with few indigenous folk was a huge mistake. For from a multicultural society we are a society with many cultures in. Ie they often don't mix, and it has allowed the recreation of societies from which many of their forebears fled for a better life. Naturally there was some disdain, and rightly we changed and became more accepting and its now biting us back. A stable healthy society should accept immigrants, and naturally will take up aspects of their society which enriches everyone, food, for example. Unfortunately we now have far too much of the stuff we don't need, which has made us poorer. A gradual crackdown may be the only way; perhaps a moratorium on construction of new places of worship; far greater scrutiny of religious accounting (all religions) for a start.
