  1. Just homes. Funny thing is, at his age, I was pretty much going without adult supervision. Not sure I'd let him do the same, even if he wanted. Mind you, at his age we were getting 4-5000 on, pick your place when you got there. How things change
  2. I woke up on around 72 minutes.
  3. Must admit, I thought the first game and the next against utd? were tremendous for atmosphere. Probably one of the best moments would be beating utd at home.
  4. Mounts is right there. Just that my lad is struggling to get into it. It hasn't helped given the recent managers we've had!
  5. I get that maximising thing, but could it be that when we become so successful, that something deep down in genetics is programmed to slow it down. Briefly heard something on the radio earlier. Didn't catch it all, but seemed to be something along the lines of scientists have managed to ascertain that we start to undertake an action before we're aware of having done so. Essentially disproving the concept of free will. Some chap's written a book about it all.
  6. The news at ten gave me Wolfsburg. Hadn't realised there was a second clue, until they were mentioned and then it clicked.
  7. Quite possibly. I'd be interested to see if homosexuality increases as population density increases; natures control mechanism perhaps?
  8. We get fruit flies late summer every year. Them black caddies for food waste attract them. Soft fruits seem to be particularly attractive. Was in the garden yesterday when the lad shouted and screamed, thought he was being attacked or something. It was a medium sized spider on his leg! Already seen some huge ones- one in the bedroom was nearly big enough to close the door.
  9. Just shows how good the game was. I nodded for a while in the first half and at least twenty minutes in the second. Didn't know about the pitch invasion until seeing this thread. When did it happen?
  10. Indeed. I made the mistake of believing the news of ken getting ownership would galvanise supporters. I was wrong.
  11. I reckon you're right about the age thing; I used to love setting off early doors for a Saturday three o'clock kick off. Mooch slowly down the disused railway, a bite to eat and a beer in Darcy then stroll up raikes. Romance of it isn't there now and that largely changed with age. The astronomical money in the game and excessive media coverage has changed things as well.
  12. Just read the comments after the bn news article about what the future will be under ka. I don't normally bother commenting on opinions from elsewhere, but by the fuck there's some bile being spewed forth. One twat (Suffolk) claiming ken has riddled the club with huge debt. Unbefuckinlievable. He's saved the club from possible extinction but is a pariah. I was very wary when he came in, and I still await his next move, but if we can't give him a little credit and cut him some slack then we might as well all pack it in. I shan't be reading their comments again, cocks.
  13. I've declared on 49. Not sure where the last one is, or if it exists. Great little teaser though, like football's version of where's wally.
  14. Did you get an eye full of the lightning
  15. Aye. Somerset's batting effort was outrageously woeful. Hope they play that bad when we play them later.
  16. Very good. Must have become a movie Mowgli, without any Balooning.
  17. Eh? You don't have to like the fella, but ffs give the bloke a chance. He's had the club a day, still under embargo etc etc. Now is ken's time to show what he can do, I'm looking forward, admittedly with some trepidation, to the ride. Judge him in a year or two.
  18. I'd agree. By the same token its natural that children cannot be borne into such relationships. I understand all points raised by several posters, and don't disagree with them. Ultimately, I feel it just adds another layer of potential difficulties. We'll not change our views so I'll leave this one here.
  19. I've enjoyed doing this. Keeps the grey matter going, even if it is in a bush.
  20. Aye, 4 clbs seemed obvious but struggled at first.
  21. Well done, still stuck on forty five. Doing my head in now.
  22. Its a bit confusing as some of the answers clearly have more than one dot. The er bit is to do with the sausage one- check the progress and you'll get a better idea of what I mean.
  23. 45, got all the ones you're missing swanny, so you must have some I'm missing.
