For someone with such ability you'd like to see a bit more end product. Then he'd be playing at a higher level I suppose.

Problem is after a few scoops you always feel you'd be better than you actually are. At least when you are tired you become aware of it and have the capacity to stop. Both are dangerous.

We do have a good away record, but teams do learn how to play against you, especially second time round. Not sure relying on a solid defence and attacking players spending loads of time helping them is always going to work. If were going to carry on with this system, then we must have two quality defensive midfielders in front of the defenders to allow our wide attackers some freedom to do what they're best at. Pp has said wheater was running on empty today- that's how injuries happen. Have a bit more confidence that we can win games against these lower teams with the quality of some of our attacking players.

I'd be tempted to rest Taylor. He's done well this season but I wouldn't want his confidence being damaged by getting torn a new one by Zaha/Townsend.

Possibly trotter's passing being dogwank. I know I'm one of his knockers but when the commentator is continually mentioning it, to the point where he said it needed changes at half time, then it says something. I think Steve Aire talks a lot of good sense and he was trying to be polite about him.

Steve aire was saying that vela dropped deaper to replace trotter and it gave more solidity. Until changes were made it sounded like none of the front players were a threat.

He did the same a while ago, got a chance against port vale and did well for 45 mins. Doesn't warrant a starting place. Too lazy for starters.

There is no doubt though that their is an issue away from home. Tactically better second half; sure we'd accept the odd bad result if we were a bit more positive from the outset. Sounds today like our centre halves were suffering from 2 games in three days and surely they'd be better protected by not having trotter in front of them and derik at right back.
