  1. Not panic stations, but as the season approaches you'd hope for some semblance of quality; a bit of passing and chances being created. Doesn't sound like we're there yet.
  2. This. Watching him sat there arms folded grumbling to his side kick, it was clear he didn't want to be there.
  3. Not sure at all. If we start with some poor results and the quality is a bit biz I can see a struggle. A solid start, get the crowd some confidence and we'll be OK. I'll go for 12th
  4. If they were to go down again, you'd love it if they were on every week.
  5. Indeed. Doesn't say he told them it was for a Leeds fan, just admitted it to the paper. Rules are there though, if you've not bought one before at that postcode then he can't this time. Is it ticket only for stoke?- perhaps he should order a couple for that then he'd be OK. Either way, I reckon its sad him buying a ticket for his ex. Would he be getting a gobble as a thankyou?
  6. We've had gerbils for ages now, they don't live long and a while back one needed to but put out of its misery as it had a tumour. Euthanasia cost around three times the price of the pet from the shop.
  7. When they were widening the thelwall viaduct, it was reduced from three lanes to one with cones.Half eleven one night, I was trundling along in the inside lane, when a box van appeared where the cones were, he came across and smacked his front end into the side of me. Lucky not not get pushed over the edge. I witness pulled up as did the cunt. Got both their details and reported it to the insurance. They contacted said cunt once with no reply. Told me they would continue to pursue him but did nowt and the cunt got away with it. Should have gone to the police. If I wasn't shaking so much I'd have been ready for chinning the cunt too.
  8. I hate my neighbours cats for always shitting in my garden. They're not even friendly, just soft bastards that leg it if you try to stroke em.
  9. Sorry, but I think that's grossly unfair. We don't know the full situation nor how they were feeling. They were being told that there may be treatments that might just have helped. Until such things are tried no one knows if they will definitely work. Sometimes they have to be tried then refined until they become more effective. Some cancer patients are offered trials of new therapies, one lady last night was given two years max with leukemia. A pioneering treatment has completely removed her cancer. If you had the chance to try something that might work, even at only a ten per cent chance of success, I know I'd keep a young one in pain for a while until it was tried. Don't know what was used to help the two kids described above, but at some point those methods would have been new.
  10. Not dismissing that, but his dad said in his statement yesterday that he was disappointed that the court system was so slow as this prevented earlier intervention. Was the doctor not allowed to visit until the courts said so? I genuinely don't know.
  11. This sounds excellent. Do you apply any sauce? Once had a sort of potato cake with black pudding in it at a pub in wales. Was tremendous.
  12. Remember when it was time for saying bye to our lurcher. Horrible, but glad we had a home euthanasia. Less stressful for all and I had the honour of doing the last thing for him by carrying him to the vet's car. They sorted out the cremation. Wife and lad want another dog now, as do I in some ways but they are tying.
  13. Must try white pud. Never had it what's it like?
  14. Isn't that haggis?
  15. That's a story and a half. Wonderful outcome though.
  16. Hope you feel better- relieved maybe.
  17. Makes a full English. I reckon its an adult's food; hated it as a kid.
  18. You may well be right, but can only go off what the article says. I was in town yesterday and one chap on the town hall steps appeared to have ingested a whole Carolina reaper- there were three paramedics with him but his movement was as bad as the adjacent lions.
  19. Never heard of him. Does he know Ronnie Pickering?
  20. Hasn't Ed wiped some more of his off. And the rest won't realistically be paid. Don't think anyone fancies us for the prem yet. As for the blue marble lot, I have a feeling that as part of kens acquisition, that will be sorted in a ken sort of way.
  21. Do you really think its that high? Just remembering sweaty saying he had parties saying they might be interested in investing once he got the shares. At that level, can't see many wanting in. Guess we'll see.
  22. Aye my relative has started to fill out now and has dropped down to non league. Hopefully he might get his breakthrough there.
  23. I agree, however if indeed folk have 'bought them' I'm concerned for them. If the fine took all profits from the builder plus some then he's gained nothing.
