  1. Anyone done it? Stupidly we've acquired three, currently around 1o weeks old. Driving me bonkers, house training OK, but with plenty of mishaps. They've loads of energy but can't go out yet (second jab tomorrow) Any tips?
  2. Interesting point smiley. Back to that documentary a little while ago. The trickle down effect from the megarich has been shown to be less than expected, although obviously exists to a degree. The point being that the majority of folk effectively don't get the benefit of the spending of those top few percent. Either way, whatever the situation, if everyone (people and companies) paid their dues, then public services would be better, and maybe rates of tax could be reduced a little.
  3. Winds now 185mph. Gusts well over 200. Savage, with a total size bigger than France.
  4. Without trawling back, how about Neil Cox?
  5. Poor bugger. I was weaned on tetleys, and with walkers Warrington ale, thwaites, and the likes of wards available at one time, not too far away, there was always a decent pint to be had.
  6. Truth is stranger than fiction
  7. Unfortunately, it seems that you're right. Though presumably some of these twats will be cock waving on social media. Hopefully, they will be receiving a knock on the door soon.
  8. Then again he only scored once for us. Dunno where.
  9. Just googled it and it comes up with various agencies saying its happening.
  10. Can't really put my finger on it, but there is something lacking. Individually, there are some decent young players, but put them in an england shirt and it doesn't quite work. I still can't help feeling that club football, and rivalries between teams somehow inhibit the formation of a really good team. Look at Germany, yes they have stars, but somehow there leagues are understated and lower key when compared to the premier league, and its be all and end all, top of the pedestal image. Put the German players together, and they gel, sometimes start a little slowly at tournaments but usually do pretty well. England simply don't.
  11. The epilepsy/anxiety stuff I take (free prescription) is very expensive apparently. I couldn't live with myself if I was squirreling stuff away and seeing the NHS etc struggling.
  12. Tents and sand. Said last night winds could gust up to 160mph. Egg yolk proper knackered in that.
  13. Seen the report re Bradshaw. Fucking disgraceful. Society is going to pot
  14. Not going to play much today.
  15. Bumble bees use holes in the ground etc. Apparently wasps nests that are low down should be given more 'respect' than those high up. They are more aggressive!
  16. Another view from a chap on the news. Japan and south Korea may now look to develop their own nukes, which China certainly wouldn't want. Come on China, do your stuff.
  17. Right. Saw the gesture, but didn't realise to whom it was aimed.
  18. Maybe. Doesn't mean it won't happen though. Again, nothing will happen unless the Americans/Japan/SK feel confident they can mitigate any aggression from nk.
  19. What did he do? I did see a middle finger briefly but wasn't sure of the context.
  20. I don't believe for one minute that if the yanks go in, that it will be with nukes. A huge 'conventional' strike on their nuclear facilities and missile batteries and other pertinent military facilities.
  21. that's good news, not seen to many myself.Andy- bees see blue better than any other colour, so tend to favour blue flowers. A range of flowering times is best to provide food all year. They love lavenders, its also important to have early flowering stuff so there's food when they wake up. Escalonia (shrub) also impressive when buzzing. Loads of info about on the internet, also wildflower seed mixes available specially for them.
  22. Quick, Shania twain on the one show- perhaps an announcement!
