That game just summed up what it's like to follow the whites. I went for a piss at 2-1 and heard a cheer and thought oh bollocks why can't we just finish the job off. But to see SKD rise and head across goal for CYL to leap and head in was just magic and confirmed why I put myself through this to watch them. It was crazy celebrating that winner!!

Just heard him on radio. Said he loved his time at Bolton but was very bitter along with Gordon Hargreaves about how they got removed in 1999. Basically he insinuated that Gartside and Bret Warbuton bullied them both out in a bitter coup. He said he had got over it but Hargreaves was still bitter to this day. Hargreaves basically helped push through Reebok etc then Gartside and his powerful allies pushed him out. Too be fair I did not realise all this and just thought at the time like most supporters that we had started shit after the play off defeat and it was time for a change. Why was Gartside not ruthless with Megson? There is probably more to it but was interesting listening.
