  1. aggh....... only works with IE which I'll never use
  2. I've never typed anything in there, it just automatically tags and then renames the tracks. Unless you mean having to type in the album name? I had 50Gb or so of albums to sort out recently and this program was easy to use for that. The only slightly difficult aspect to it is setting the options for tagging and filenames eg. $num(%track%,2) - %title% My mate gave me a short guide to using it which hepled too
  3. They play the Apollo tomorrow too but that also sold out ages ago. I saw them at the Academy a couple of years ago, it surprised me then that a realatively new band could sell out such a large venue on their 1st UK tour. I doubted that they could better their 1st album but they seem to have done it with Neon Bible.
  4. I've used Mp3tag for a few years now for tagging and renaming. You can search freedb or Amazon for the correct tracklistings. http://www.mp3tag.de/en/
  5. Blackpool v. Bolton around Christmas same season was a good one too. I remember there being over 25000 on Bloomfield Rd that day.
  6. I remember my Dad taking me to see Bolton win 6-4 against QPR, would have been late 1960s
  7. Our police and secret services are looking for clues into Litvinenko's murder and the source of the Polonium 210 poison, maybe this was the source? http://www.unitednuclear.com/isotopes.htm A handy site if you want to eliminate anyone ;-)
  8. unless we lose 7 wickets in the next hour or so it looks like there will be a day 5
  9. but how much stick would the club be taking if we still had our ??8m in the bank?
  10. Just had a text off a friend who was at the Finland - Armenia game, he said that J????sekel??inen played well and saved them with a brilliant save late on. It puts them top of their group. It looks like 84th min from this report, Paraatipelastus! means Great Save. http://www.hs.fi/urheilu/artikkeli/1135223005378
  11. They still do radio sessions for Andy Kershaw every year or so and used to do for Peel before he died. A few of them are available from their website http://www.hmhb.co.uk/ click on Audio.
  12. If you right click in opera and select 'Edit Site Preferences' and then select 'Network' at the top you can choose a browser identification for that website. Like 'identify as IE or Mozilla' or to completely hide from sites that you are using Opera you can 'Mask as IE or Mozilla' . I think you need to be using opera 9 for that.
  13. We'd have over a thousand even at ??32 & ??16 for concessions. The last 2 years the Blackburn game has been on sky and at inconvenient kick off times. I agree that the bargain prices have boosted the following by a mile: no argument. I support Blackburn's efforts to fill the empty seats and as a season ticket holder at the reebok I wouldn't object to us trying something similar, although maybe others would? I work for Warburtons and a few years ago when the 10p loaves appeared a lot staff complained about why we couldn't compete with those prices. We were told that quality would prevail and that the company would survive. Maybe they apply the same logic to our club? Anyway, whatever, let's all get behind the lads on Sunday!!
  14. The back page of the Bolton News is about the 'ticket rush' and Blackburn themselves have placed an advert about the special prices for away fans
  15. I don't know who runs it, as long as it helps to solve problems I'm not too concerned. They do insist that they are independent though, but I don't really know for sure. This was in an answer on their site rules section, probably to fend off accusations of being ntl controlled. Q, Who runs this site? I do and my friends the moderators, of which 0 are ntl: employees. I would like to add we were not nthellworld.com and we have NEVER been bought out.
  16. I usually solve any ntl problems from the ntl: hell forum http://forums.ntlhell.co.uk/ You can usually find someone else with the same problem or someone who will offer to help. Some of the ntl employees who use the forum have been helpful in the past.
  17. That's correct. I bought 5 today and a lad in front of me in the queue was refused tickets as he didn't have a season ticket.
  18. Or better still, Opera :-) Firefox is a million times better than IE so either will be good

    Doh!

NTL has been poor for a few weeks ntl:hell has been full of complaints http://forums.ntlhell.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=68817 They were blaming it, as usual, on all the upgrades they've been doing. It seems much better this week.

    Doh!

I've only really used P2P with DC++ and I've had no problems for the 5 years or so that I've been using it. It doesn't seem to slow things down. I use Net Transport a few times a week to capture radio streams and that does slow my pc down a fair bit

    Doh!

I changed from Azureus to ??Torrent about 18 months or so ago and have found it pretty good. It does slow things down a bit, especially if I'm doing P2P stuff at the same time but I'm usually able to keep things under control with netlimiter. http://www.netlimiter.com/ Is Pipex any good? I'm on NTL 4mb
  22. Hereford away 76/7 went down on a ribble coach, game postponed due to frozen pitch went to rearranged game on supporter's club coach, game postponed due to fog game rearranged again for the very next night 15/12/76, club put on a free coach for us and Willie Morgan came in Hereford suporter's club before the game and gave us a load of free match tickets off the players.
