Really is there's a feel good factor round the place Small scaffold went up on it few months back and I think it's been soft stripped inside. Nowt happening though by looks of it though a 'to let' sign up on the front. Scaff's still up but It took them about 2 years to take down and turn off the lit up Missoula sign and take it down so they're maybe trying suss out who's paying the leccie bill first.

I worked on Bolton Town Hall on the first phase works about 10 years ago when they were selling their outlying buidlings and moving all the staff under one roof when they realised they were skint. The boiler room will still have it in to a degree even after many removals over the years. It's behind conduits and trapped by the body of the building in many places. The really worrying thing was they'd had a survey which missed loads as Bolton Council pushed the survey onto ISG who were running the refurb works. They went with the cheapest survey price and hey presto the survey run out of sampling money and skipped a bit here and there. We discovered a duct that run under the road to the magistrates court full of pipe insulation all hanging off. There was another tunnel that runs over to the museum which wasn't quite as bad. I woiulnd't have wanted to go to the Albert Halls though as there was asbestos floating about and being pushed about by the aircon units and also behind all the fancy radiator grills running through the mayors offices and also the Halls. I went that with my grandad. We went in City End of Kippax stood at the end by the gap to the away end. Must have been cheaper in the home end, he didn't waste a penny my grandad. Switched on though as he knew to pay the local lads to watch the car when we parked on street side of the ground.
