  1. Aye, massive panic attack squeezing through some of them crevices. Never seen the appeal of that
  2. Could you say the same about England? I think France will get through tonight but it's very close to call. Just think Belgium may have peaked too early Reckon we'd have a better chance against France than Belgium.
  3. We've only got 2 days I'd settle for him knowing when to pass and when to shoot for a start Guaranteed he'll bag the winner in the final though
  4. Time will tell I suppose. It couldn't have hurt
  5. Preferred Chorlton on balance but did like going watching the footy on Burton Rd and used to love that Nepalese curry place - Shak Shu Ka, fcuking immense dish - was a regular when I lived just off Mersey bank Chorlton always seemed like the singles area and Dids more of the couples, young families, yummy mummies kind of vibe. As for this weather . . . agree it's too hot to be working in. Schools I'm in are like saunas at the minute. For UK holidays though it's ace - was in Cornwall over the weekend and was in the sea twice, and not just a quick head in and leg it out again - I swear it was as warm as the Med, never known owt like it.
  6. Agree but like an election there should have been clear manifestos and strategies in place for a leave vote.
  7. Not that it wouldn't be allowed but in a majority Muslim school (of which there are many) it would take a brave Head to do something like that. I can think of at least two schools in Bristol where I know they wouldn't dare and parents would complain It's a culture, Frank, that I see daily. To be fair, those schools are in the minority but still; that video shows how a country can be united through sport and have some fun. That it could be questioned or deemed offensive at all is sad as fook
  8. Watching this first half just confirms what I'd always remembered - we were on top in that game and their goal was so scabby! To think Bull could have had a WC winners medal ha ha He weren't that bad to be fair
  9. SEmi v Germany being shown in full on BBC Sport now Steve Bull on't subs bench - fcuk me
  10. Rik Mayall was ace. One trick pony, aye, but as a kid i found him piss funny. I'm the opposite with Bottom - loved it when I was at school but watched it on Netflix recently and you could see the flaws. The slapstick stuff is still top notch though. As for the last bit, I totally agree.
  11. Good stuff! Is there a reason I had to click an acceptance thing as it said the video might be offensive? I assume that's a joke?! I can honestly say that would not have flown at many schools. Shame.
  12. kin el I'd been storing dirty nappies up all week for a mammoth delivery (recorded delivery, mind). Hey ho they'll just have to go in the bin now with the sun on them all day instead
  13. Turned out ok in the end. Got there about 11 am with zero traffic, had a swim in the warmest English sea I’ve ever been in and got to the place about half 2. Only snag was finding out WiFi didn’t work in my laptop at ten to 3; a slight row, some fast driving, and ten mins later I was in a pub with a cider just as they kicked off! BBQ with view of the sea and sun set after and some hot tub shenanigans. Could get used to this???? Like shelling peas that win. We’re looking good; all these teams we keep hearing will cause us problems yet we have been in control in every game bar the friendly. You’d think the Croats will be fucked after that n all. Hoping for a France England final now.
  14. Mrs booked a romantic weekend away ages ago . . . check in is at 3pm ffs! 2 1/2 hour drive to Cornwall in this heat n all . . . still, place has a hot tub but no TV so it's a race to get there and set up shop before KO.
  15. Belgium look ominously good. Them and France easily best two teams. Still think they can be beaten though
  16. Good job they weren't chucking em into the crowd there'd have been riots
  17. Here's a link of the naked Scarlett Johannson scenes as well, just for laughs https://www.celebjihad.com/celeb-jihad/scarlett-johansson-skin-nude-scene-hd-brightened I'll say that discovering she had a robotic twodge just as you're about to enter her would also be top of my worst nightmare list
  18. Aye the trainers. Stuff like this would drive me to Baz like levels of rage . . . I'm not getting how if you have proof of them being received you are having to fork out? Surely with all that you have a strong legal case? Thing with stuff like this though you end up not bothering as it's not worth the hassle. Good luck with it all though - do they have a twitter page or owt like that? Might be worth writing an account of what happened on there if so?
  19. Can't find a link for the diver but sure I read it in Bill Bryson's History of Everything and iirc MythBusters did a thing on it as well. Pressure change was so fast their fat separated from their blood . . .
  20. ha ha Were i still there it would be on every street sign with a thick marker
  21. Always worth a try things like that. I reckon having a hot bath with a tied bunch in there would work better - I say that as I used to know a Thai massuese ( ) who used to get her girls to forage certain herbs in the jungle and then use them as a hot and wet press for a variety of ailments. Sorted me right out!
  22. Uruguay > Argentina everytime though. I have a slight soft spot for them for some reason. Bit of a S American underdog perhaps or my enemies enemy n all that?
  23. A Warbies loaf wouldn't have the same appeal would it?
  24. Oh aye, nowt against it - just doubt I'd find it that funny now. Bit like Chubby Brown If you went to gigs and that back in the day it would probably be a good laugh
