Bristol Rovers (A)
Lifting your arms is innocuous. They’re just upset because they are losing.

Bristol Rovers (A)
Does anyone know if Collins gave it large after scoring or did he do the modern day thing of not celebrating.
-
Portsmouth v Derby
Agreed, they were aggressive all over the pitch and very well drilled and the conditions probably suited them.

Gone from the league
It’s crazy to think a club like Burnley could drop out of the football league. It doesn’t get any closer than that though, last game of the season.

Gone from the league
IIRC didn’t Burnley have to win their last game of the season in the 4th tier to stay up. Might be 30 years ago or so.

Season Tickets 24/25
I’ve renewed, takes up a big chunk of my Saturday with the travelling. However for the first time in my life I’m thinking, go and watch the whites before I get too old and I can’t make the trip.

Injuries
Aye, I can see that. I suppose Baxter has to think of the long term. As an aside, apparently Nixon has tweeted that Baxter could be back in the squad this Friday. I’ll wait until Evatt says something but if he doesn’t we’ll know on Friday.

Injuries
The week before last Evatt said Baxter was having his splint removed on the 15th and seeing the specialist on Monday 18th. Either that specialist has given the green light to play or not. Shouldn’t the club and the player abide by that specialists advice.

Bolton are massive ....
That’s correct. I remember when there was talk of Chelsea building a new stadium in 2015 and one wag said, “ You can’t wipe out 10 years of history just like that”

Bolton are massive ....
Another criteria to throw into the mix Bolton have provided 28 players who have represented England, total of 120 caps Ipswich have provided 12 players who have represented England, total of 155 caps 🤷♀️

Bolton are massive ....
I get you, but I’m old enough to remember the lesser clubs winning things and it was better imo than the usual teams winning comps year in, year out. A Forest or Derby or Wimbledon coming to the fore for a one season wonder or a few seasons was good for the punters and gave every fan hope. I’m not even going there on who the big six are. 😉

Bolton are massive ....
I suppose it comes down to big crowds or lots of trophies. The giants in the game have both. For me, I’d prefer the trophies, they create memories and go in the record books for ever. I’m still hoping I’ll see the Whites lift a League cup or even better an FA cup before I shuffle off.

Where will we finish
Let’s get Vic, Charles and Baxter back and playing before the playoffs and get them match fit. The playoff semis are a minefield but if we get to the final, I think on a big Wembley pitch we will beat anybody.

Derby County (A)
We need to move on, try and remain unbeaten in the last 7 games which will stand us in good stead going into the playoffs.

Derby County (A)
And Carlisle at home

Derby County (A)
Seasons in top flight Derby 61 Bolton 71 FA cup final appearances Derby 4 Bolton 7 League cup final appearances Derby 0 Bolton 2 its all down to opinion but Derby and Bolton are similar to me.

Derby County (A)
Based on what exactly?

Derby County (A)
Fair enough, our track record at their midden is poor, but the comment “I expect to beat Bolton at home in every single league we’re in” is just arrogance.

Derby County (A)
I don’t understand where Derby get this Billy big bollocks attitude from. 3 major trophies in their history and just under 42k for their highest ever attendance.

Derby County (A)
I’ve just watched Derbys highlights from last night. The penalty decision is dodgy, looks like handball by the Derby lad. I wouldn’t take a draw on Saturday, if it’s a draw, so be it. But whoever loses has to stew on it over the break and it could affect them going forward. Us or them bring it on. coywm

Oxford (H)
I’d love a win tomorrow and no more injuries to strikers please!
-
Exeter City (A)
I read a while back that Baxter’s injury is a hand tendon injury. Looking at the NHS they say it takes approx 12 weeks for that type of injury to heal but it can take up to 6 months. Maybe that’s why Evatt can’t put a specific time on it. If we are in the playoffs, I’d hope he’s back for those.

Crikey! I never knew that.
