  1. Yet another poxy outfit rocking up here and shithousing from minute 1, with 11 behind the ball. Justice that they got nothing; they were among the worst I've seen this season. Ref at least did cotton on to it after a while, but Bradley's first offence booking was farcical after Cheltenham's behaviour. Chuffed we managed to get the win though, you can tell this side is getting much better at scrapping, while still sticking to Evatt's possession based philosophy. Only criticism I have: No matter what the BN comments section has been yelling for the past couple of months, today proved that Declan John really isn't the answer. Defensive positioning non existent, and Jones left to do the work of two men, multiple times. A side like Wednesday would tear us apart on our left with him in the side.
  2. Name, email and postcode.
  3. Just rung up, it appears Accrington ARE checking against Bolton's member database, before contacting me back and allowing a purchase. So, perhaps be a little smarter than me, and use an email address that isn't affiliated with the club... d'oh. I might have to get my football-hating missus (12 years and she's still never come to a game) to ring up later.
  4. Oh I've no beef, I'm still firmly in the "thank fuck we've got a club" camp. I'm no snob - we are where we are. Without looking into it, its just baffling how they've managed to fund the rise through the leagues with a fanbase seemingly like Colls, or Chorley at best.
  5. Semi final at home for pennies with the chance to go to Wembley and they can't flog them. Honestly, how the fuck are these lot at League 1 level?
  6. Does anyone know if they're still selling home tickets? I have a friend with a convenient Hyndburn postcode and I certainly wouldn't mind bumping into some secret wanderers in the home end...
  7. Hands up, I didn't rate Dempsey for a long while. Unfair I suppose, he hadn't really managed a run of games. But he's made himself undroppable in the past few weeks, becoming the kind of all-action, lung-busting terrier in the middle we've not had for ages. Long may he continue.
  8. Late to the party regarding the Italian chat, but I was in Georgia in September, and the lads there are beside themselves with Kvaratshkelia. Bars absolutely heaving when Napoli played; they buzz off him. Looks like an absolute treasure to be fair, he's taking the piss in Serie A. Also. A long, exhausting, injury-ridden draw for Derby with West Ham tonight, please.
  9. Santos is Danny Shittu reborn. Insane at this level Definitely my favourite comment of the lot 😆
  10. Get in, brilliant stuff. Could have been 6 or 7 on another day, good performance all round.
  11. Wheres 6 minutes come from?!?
  12. That's a fuckin belter. Go on Aaron lad!!!
  13. Can't see it myself, but you never know Jones or Johnston at lwb does worry me a tad though. Haven't they got that Rak Sakyi on the right? Nippy little bugger, could turn either of them inside out... hope I'm wrong. Hope all of you down there have a great session, and bring back the 3 points!
  14. In for my first long(er) distance away of the season. Not been before, any boozer recommendations?
  15. Well, that was cack. Same problems as many, I got in, then faced with no tickets to select. Pitfalls of being "massive everywhere we go" I suppose...
  16. Is Bielsa the right manager to save them from relegation with only a few months and a couple of days in the transfer market? Can't see it myself. They'll go for Dyche, the fans will have a moan and the "School of Science" will have to shut for good... but they'll probably stay up for another year.
  17. Kachunga can fuck off to the B team until his contract is out. Absolute disgrace; it's not that his little gut punch was stupid, for me it was the absolute lack of effort he put in to try to make up for his actions. Half jumps, forlorn little jogs, comedy falls to the floor, a shocking lack of a first touch. If he showed a tiny fraction of the desire of Dempsey tonight, I'd almost forgive him. As it was, he can get in the fucking bin, the gobshite. Officiating was bizarre, truly bizarre. Nothing more to be said on that, just embarrassing. Huge well done to everyone other than that no-mark dosser; a real battling performance. If FGR could finish, that could have been a cricket score. As it was, they're terrible in front of goal, and we got three points... albeit under far more challenging circumstances than we thought at about 7:50pm...
  18. Beaten by a better side on the day. But as has been said before, we almost didn't deserve to lose. Shows the difference in taking chances and not... Derby were anonymous second half bar their goal but never really looked under threat from us. I'd have taken playoffs in August and I still think that's where we are going to be in May. Then it's a lottery... keep the faith.
  19. I flicked on to their game at about 30 mins as dodgy box ifollow stopped working for me at end of first half. Saw both goals. They won't be staying up with defending like that second... absolutely nobody tracking Bowen with Antonio going nowhere for a cross. They're in big trouble.
  20. With McGoldrick starting this time, plus being at home, I can't help but think our defence will have a harder job than they did at our place. 1-1, with 20 goals 20 goals Nlundulu to bag.
  21. Quite a satisfying result tonight. Nout like a 98th minute loss.
  22. Proper skip rats. It's always fun to watch established "big" PL clubs implode, thinking back to when we made Alan Smith cry, or stayed up at the expense of World Cup Winning Academy of Football West Ham, etc. Everton dropping has had such a sense of inevitability over the past 3/4 years that it might lose its excitement factor when it finally happens. Or not - fuck them!
  23. Fantastic all over the pitch, an absolute stroll towards the end. Portsmouth didn't really get a sniff - as professional a performance as weve seen. I say it every game it seems, but Eoin Toal is brilliant, so calm. And a cracking finisher too, it seems...!
