I remember BSA speaking about him after he'd gone. Pretty sure there was a hint of a suggestion about the use of substances which aren't conducive to a long career.

It's worth a mention that after he left us he got back in the German National squad and bob'ed a few in for them too.

Well, I've never forgotten the way he ran.

THAT was memorable.

Djibril Diawara did do something memorable at Arsenal.  They didn't have a shirt to fit him and had to borrow one off one of our largest fans outside the ground and got the Arsenal club shop to screen print his name on it. 

He was a shocking footballer though.

Joe Riley, got him on loan from Everton. Played like Roy Keane on his debut away at Preston.....rest of the season turned in to Roy Cropper.
