Just received an email confirming payment.  Was in for £5k so a nice £500 payable 30/9.

  • Probably so they can be all chummy with the club and play at director. Because they certainly don’t disclose what they spunk the money on but do manage to attend all the glitzy events

  • No no no. They are in it for them good of fans and the club. Not screwing it. It just can’t happen with such an open and honest bunch

Just checked this.  It says each season, which is a surprise to me.  Glad you asked.

10% Brucie bonus for the bond holders.

According to this taken from page 2 of this thread, it seems the bonus was conditional on being promoted to the Championship for the start of the 2024-25 season.

The bond is effectively a loan made to the club over a 5-year term, at the end of which the full amount will be repaid to the bond holder. During the 5-year period, there will be an annual interest payment of 8.5% and the possibility of a further 10% bonus if the club compete in the EFL Championship from the ‘24/’25 season.

Thankfully, the bond wording is clearer.

Good news - I'm pleased for you and the other bond holders!

Bad news for FV though now that they have to find £450k before the end of September to pay you all.

Enjoy your bonus - don't spend it all at once!

:drinks:

Doubt they see it as bad news.

Promotion to the championship was an aim from the beginning, and they have achieved it.

That money will be gladly paid, and I'm sure the investment was appreciated then and now.

Looks strong and fast the new lad.

This is the kind of stuff you should be doing @Zog1

No they won't see it as bad news - as anybody suggested it would?

It is however a cost to them of nearly half a million that would have been very useful to them right now in strengthening the squad for the season ahead in a higher tier of football.

I believe a further quarter of a million is due also to Eddie Davies estate for achieving promotion too.

Overarching all this is the need for additional millions to fund the coming season/s, although the approximately £18.5m increase in revenue from the difference of being in the Championship then the third tier, will obviously help.

Sorry double post
