Great win against a team set -up as an away side on a slither of a pitch .

We have lost these types of games before mainly through set piece situations.

Santos & Toal stood up well & I thought Forrester did his bit.

Every game is different & tactically Evatt got it right again.

Aye agree with that.

Definitely seem to be growing more of a physical element to the game.

Not getting bullied, and maybe being more efficient when in possession. 

A good balance of players in midfield, and perhaps sub strikers getting a rough sharper too.

I find the ‘I told you so’s’ equally as irritating to be honest. 

Each to their own but I’d also think anyone is a throbber who revelled in us being shit or told people someone was toss for ages.

It was a very strange pitch as the ball didn’t seem to bounce.

tough game, always going to be tight and not pretty.

but could have had a few second half.

defence held up really well.

games like that where you find a way to win can be season defining

home for 12 - most enjoyable way to spend a Tuesday night 

Far from spectacular but dealt with all (the little) Shrewsbury offered and found a way to win. Exactly the kind of performance we missed out in this type of game last season.

New lads settling in well, starting to become difficult to score against and we are bang in form.

3 points at weekend will out us in a great position heading into the international break ahead of the 2 big games at Oxford & Pompey. If we are still in touch after those then this could be a great season.

Great to hear.  Didn't watch so hopefully things have improved on that front.  I don't care how we do it, clean sheets like in the last 2 aways are what a promotion season is based on.  Long may it continue.

He’s been poor but this will help him, seems like he’s a confidence player, looked a different proposition in that Cheltenham clip against us. Let’s hope upward curve continues.

Forrester superb when he came on. Such a cool and classy player. Sheehan really dictated that 20 min period when we started to get on top and scored but Toal was different class. Best player on the pitch and arguably his best game for us.

After the 10 match review, waiting for 20 games in and the next serious evaluation. After 15 though, have to say I could not be happier. The perfect 'hunter' position at present.

Beating the donkey shaggers might get us too close to the 'hunted' position but fuck it, I hope we smash the tangerine twats.

Good player is Forrester. I reckon he'll turn out to be one of Evatts best bits of business
