Bit harsh- good awareness of a teammate perhaps in a better position? Plenty may have taken a shot, especially when short of goals. We got the goal and the win.

Far from spectacular but dealt with all (the little) Shrewsbury offered and found a way to win. Exactly the kind of performance we missed out in this type of game last season. New lads settling i

Stats say only 2 shots on target.

Efficient!

Saved a few for Saturday, hopefully 😁

Great result this, hope we can keep this going.

Before the goal I thought we were comfortable but out attacking was poor, Shrewsbury just had one of the most boring/non event performance you could see.

Maghoma' 3 goals recently have all been fortunate but if you don't shoot as they say!

Big miss from Charles and not sure how Nlundulu or Thomason never scored, but a solid if not glittering display.

Our first open play goal from a sub of the league season (had 2, both from Morley, 1 a pen), was well worked, could easily have gone t' corner.

Great job. Wigan doing us a decent favour too. Table looking nice leading into a game most are concerned about. Cushion if needed (hopefully not)

professional job on a decent enough side that lacked a bit of quality

Said it at half time, if we win games like that then we’ve really progressed from last year.

It’s a brilliant win, lots of gutsy performances without any particular standout. Others have said it but Santos and Toal probably the pick, with an honourable mention for Forester who looks the part every time he plays.

I’d also say Baxter deserves some praise. Nothing in particular but it just feels like he’s a calming presence and the defence completely trust him - it all feels very settled at the moment (no coincidence it’s since Santos came back).

All about the points 12 from last 4 games, and 3 of them away from home, nowt to fucking whinge about, onward and upwards

Second para sums up just about every team in the division.

Could be right and no complaints if I churn it out another 20 times this season, we will have a nice end of season if so😂

It’s boring being a happy clapper all the time.

We’re going up.

Think Morley picked up an injury, he was definately limping at the end.

Well our annual winter implosion hasnt happened yet.

Once the weather turns properly we've fucked it :)

Great 3 points.

Well done to Maghoma for having a shot from outside the box again, you make your own luck etc.

And good thinking from Williams for the 2nd goal, how many would have held the ball for 20 seconds then played it back.  About time his long throw was used to our advantage.

Last time we won 3 aways on the trot we got promoted (Mansfield, Southend, Oldham).

October/November haven't been good to us in the Evatt years, but I'm feeling a momentum here

Did enough, good to see us grind it out.

Matty Taylor certainly paid attention in Mr Megson's class.

It was funny

As they put us under the late aerial pressure i said they shouldve come at us like that all game

We immediately scored!

Have to give credit to Shrewsbury's defence in that first half - first to every ball, compact, well-organised, won everything in the air and forced us to go long which was breakfast for them. Nullified everything we tried.

In the few minutes before the goal we started to string some passes together and although we were a bit lucky with Marosi's fumble (was he still injured?) the goal changed the game.

Great defence on that tight pitch Shrewsbury, but nothing going forward and ended up with their CBs playing up top hoping to get on to balls hoofed into the box - and that opened the door for our second goal. Matty Taylor's new to the job so I hope they back him in January to sort out some attacking options because they're in trouble now with Wigan winning.

We've struggled in scrappy games like this in the past so it feels like progress. Chuffed.
