  • I really wouldn't care if we'd knocked a hatful of goals in against the DMB great grandmothers. It's a big win against the filth that will cause some discomfort somewhere in that rancid organisation.

  • Nail’s going in where? 🤣 Anyway. As  @radcliffe white   pointed out, this means very little if we don’t follow it up Saturday. One of the pleasing aspects of our run last year is that these

Haven’t we got to play a certain percentage of the last starting line up in this fucking ridiculous competition?

Im pretty certain we can’t just make wholesale changes.

  • Any player who started the previous or following first-team fixture
  • Any player who is in the top 10 players at the club who have made the most starting appearances in league and domestic cup competitions that season
  • Any player with 40 or more first-team appearances in their career
  • Any player on loan from a Premier League club or any EFL 'Category One' academy club
  • A club can play any eligible goalkeeper in the competition

Ok.

IE states that he doesn't have an unlimited budget and the small squad is the result of that and that injuries have been an issue.

Rest is the number 1 thing you can do to lessen the chance of further injury after the game on Saterday.

Yet he's basically picked the same squad as the game on Saterday, risking more players.

It doesn't make sense, he can use the some or even the entire B team, all fresh and biting at the bit for an opportunity to prove themselves.

No he can’t. His hands are tied by the regulations.

Competition rules state that clubs must play their full available strength in each match. This means that each EFL club must include at least four ‘qualifying’ outfield players.

A qualifying player is:

  • A player who started the immediately preceding first team fixture
  • A player who subsequently starts the immediately following first team fixture
  • A player who is in the list of 10 players at the club with the highest number of starting appearances in first team fixtures in the same season
  • A player who has made 40 or more starting appearances in first team fixtures or international equivalents (and not limited to the same club or season)
  • A player who is on standard loan from a Premier League club or any EFL Club operating a Category one academy

We're pumping it forward too much and some poor passes don't help. They are weak at the back and absent for both goals so we just need to calm the f*** down and pass it around a bit better and the goals will flow.

Aye. It’s fucking bollox, given that we are playing against a team of teenagers.

Even so, I don't understand why Hutchinson isn't starting against these.

Yep with the “EFL clubs must have at least four 'qualifying' outfield players in their line-ups, with such a player meeting these requirements: “ you can field a few B team players as long as 4 other players meet the criteria.
You can always say fuck it there injured we can’t field the ones that qualify

Yes. Currently getting beat by Barnsley.

These lads look like they could do a good job for the rags😂 look like they know how to lose!

Sheehan class

Great strike from Sheehan!

Haha I hope we rinse em

Think we should go for the record win

Again nobody defending/closing the edge of their box. I like their kids but f*** me they are naive.

And now Geth scores.

These are garbage but our goals have been class.

And another! Get in Gethin

Hey genius "four 'qualifying' outfield players" doesn't contradict what i said. I'm sure even you can do some basic maths, what's 11-4? I was aware of the rule, when i made the comment.

Cracking finish that

Even the mrs went mmmmmm

And she knows nothing about football

Can only beat what’s in front of you

Maybe kicks some confidence in some players but it’s really a training exercise this

Saturday is all I’m arsed about this means Jack if we don’t get a positive result
