Who's in?

How many changes?

Will we avoid an upset?

I'd rest the wing backs Cogley & Randy, & the strikers Charles & Vic because they all run miles & Sheehan & Santos because they're too important to risk.              Baxter

It was postponed on the morning of the game

Our hire van needed using so went to wigan v hartlepool on the away end

Funny that.

We did exactly the same.

Game shouldn’t have been on but it was one of the very few that was.

Can’t remember the score but Wigan won IIRC.

It wouldve been pretty difficult for the majority of those 32 years

Indeed.

Another great use of stats.

So assuming you went to Liverpool in 2015, you haven't missed an away FA Cup tie for at least 12 years!

(4 home games 2012-13-14, none away)

Ha yes. What a legend I am. Time to open the debate about priority tickets😂

Just checked, last one missed was spurs 2010 lost 4-0. Better keep this up

on fact it’s over as I didn’t go to Stockport. Oh well

I agree, but still, its 10 homes on the trot in 1st 2 rounds and plenty more in 3rd and 4th rounds too, with the odd away thrown in.

There's something unique about an away FA Cup tie in the early rounds, with the incentive of getting in the 3rd round.  I enjoyed a few in the mid 80s to early 90s eg Burnley, Wrexham twice, Tranmere (before we "disliked" each other), Halifax, Blackpool (was on MOTD), Witton Albion, Emley.  Pitch invasions, a bit of trouble, bigger crowds than for league games, very enjoyable.  I didn't realise at the time I'd be waiting 30 odd years minimum for the next, not that I'd swap it for the Prem/Championship years we had instead.

i couldnt be arsed on saturday, my seat had been sold! but if id been bothered, id have been there

im just not that bothered about the cup any more

i do remember us playing brighton one year, poss round 3 and poss motd and it being a game i really looked forward to, so its not always been the case

Cup runs are great but don’t forget we have Barnsley, Cambridge & potentially Wigan now to fit into our schedule

EFL cup last 32 is w/c 4th so it could take its toll further down the line (personally I’d bump that cup off and play the back up back up

Brighton game casino the round before Southampton 1992

I’m the same. Cup has been ruined. I’ll pick and choose what I go too. Was the bigger game for me over league.

Was amazed to hear Paul Cook say winning was a bit of a nuisance v Pompey and that Mousinho would probably be happy he’s out.

He’s honest, just found it odd still as I thought it would be unspoken.

Didn't happen on the car park then?

Fucking idiots need a week in the stocks with all manner of shit thrown at them, in addition to bans.

Hopefully there will be some cctv available.

Would have been Man U but they lost a replay home to Southampton on pens.  Only time I've been gutted United lost, although the Southampton tie did prove to be memorable.

I think we were only on MOTD v Brighton (not exactly a stand out fixture) because of our undersoil heating, if I remember rightly most games were called off.  That Brighton kit was vile.

They had a tricky player called Raphael Meade scored & caused us problems

Had some good home cup draws that season

Did it involve a permanent-tanned Turkey-toothed Southerner in a big coat?

Why you posting my number - see you outside the club shop 👍

Solihull keeper recalled by Stoke and named in England U20 squad.  Decent keeper for his age, but not got the presence of Trafford.
