January 9, 20242 yr Win the pizza cup. Winning at Everton would be nice, but if you then subsequently lose, it's a bit meh. Retaining the trophy hasn't been done before. As there was no league influence stated, then all the more reason to win it.
January 9, 20242 yr Im not even sure id go to wembley for a pizza but im taking the lets win every game option Financially the club would prob be better getting out of pizza and having a possible upset payday at goodison

January 9, 20242 yr For those who want to win it great however look at the fixture dates and think is it really worth it plus financially it’s not worth a wank Edited January 9, 20242 yr by radcliffe white

January 9, 20242 yr PJ can fuck right off… didn’t go final last time and wouldn’t go if we get there again, hope we never have to play in that comp ever again.

January 9, 20242 yr Some folk need to remember we are a league 1 club. Be folk saying they just want to be back in the prem next
January 9, 20242 yr Retain the trophy ( few good ones out tonight) and promotion for me - not bothered about fa cup in all honesty

January 9, 20242 yr Being in multiple competitions is a squad thing - except despite the talk about us having strength in depth, we’re not really using our full squad. I suspect other teams have a better focus on promotion than us. We have a tough league schedule ahead and I really don’t want to hear tiredness as an excuse if we lose. We’ll see how committed to rotation Evatt is if the likes of Matheson and Ashworth and the others start against Accy.
January 9, 20242 yr I don’t see how losing to Accy will have a positive effect on the squad. Defeat to an average league 2 team isn’t exactly good preparation for a league game 3 days later. Try to win, but rest players to protect the squad where possible.

January 9, 20242 yr Is Mr Holt letting us in that Coleys bar or are they still sulking from last year? Edited January 9, 20242 yr by superjohnmcginlay
January 9, 20242 yr Do we have the best squad in the league or do we just have a first 11 who can only cope with one competition?

I think we have a very strong squad who all know their jobs But there are one or two who any club in div 3 would miss And theyre 'spine' players so there is a risk but many of our injuries seem to be traing ground ones I dont think its the playing games as much as having less time to work on stuff Evatt knows what hes doing, hes protected charles all season even when the experts have known better If he thinks its getting too much, he will do what needs doing
