December 12, 20232 yr It really wasn't as bad as some are making out for me. His issue was trying to side foot it when he's got to just lash his left at it, it's come at him quick though and caught him just as he's stepping, looks a bit awkward but there's plenty worse misses out there.

I'd say very much the opposite. Lashing at a quick rebound is more likely to see a miss. A gentle side foot, cushioning it into the open net is the right way to go. For whatever reason, he just angled his foot wrongly, but the technique is the right one.
December 12, 20232 yr Because of the pace on the ball he didn't really have time to adjust, but still should have scored.

December 12, 20232 yr It is a fucking howler, the pitch the pace of the ball, the angle, his technique, his headband, his curly hair , the keeper, Brexit , Covid, Putins illegal war, the cost of living crisis, and anything else can not be blamed. Lad fucked up, will score 20 goals this season so we move on.

December 12, 20232 yr That miss last night was as bad as any ... but even the best players in the world miss the odd bad 'un, I remember Anelka putting it wide of an empty net at Anfield.
December 12, 20232 yr Jamie Proctors at Bury was a shocker. Whatmore at Ipswich. Compo and Holdsworth, both at Wembley. Any attempt by Clayton Donaldson
