After that display at Wembley its natural for us to want a new start.

It’s similar games & showings that have permeated the season.

We made life easy for Oxford & Derby in the end.

Sentiment from his 13 games here as a player?

In fairness there’s a bit more of an attachment because of him coming so highly rated through the academy and then getting such a serious injury while playing the first team, so he was around the club much longer than the number of appearances would suggest. To the extent that I don’t think his name would be anywhere near the conversation if he hadn’t played for us and done GMR commentary etc

What’s rosenior done to make him a candidate for us?

Got Hull to a decent position suppose.

Going off the Hull chairman's statement he plays pretty negative football.

I can't think of any other reason other than he played for us

Was reckoned he was the brains behind Rooney when at Derby

Know Hull fans and they say they were awful to watch

Suppose we’ve achieved nowt when playing the pretty stuff so we might as well try the polar opposite now 🤣

Even more of an excuse for a post match pint

Look at what parky has done at Wrexham, double promotions sometimes it's horses for courses we just need to find the right horse!

Stay, but make some sweeping changes in the squad,

sometimes your "best" players are the things that hold you back.

and foook off this 5 3 2 formation, we've relied on outscoring people too long.

Kevin Nolan could be looking for a job when moyles leaves West Ham maybe take a punt on him?

Someone will be suggesting Nolan next

Nothing to recommend him then.

The report in the Bolton news about Evatt considering his position leads to believe he’s on his way, think decision needs making sooner rather than later, we’ve a whole lot of things need sorting with the squad etc, another couple of weeks waiting for a decision will hamper any new managers plans and make it harder to achieve promotion next season. What a fuck up failing to get autos this season has been.

Further more football can fuck off!!

Voted 'Go' with a heavy heart.

That 2nd home hammering v Wigan, showed he hadn't learnt a thing and that his side is so wedded to one style of play, they're fecked when the opposition have a proper go. The failure to win an away game against any half decent side.

If he stays, watch us play Stockport at home in August, they'll bring 4000 fans over, we'll get dicked & again, he'll be unable to offer an explanation.

if he goes I want Nolan in to replace him, loves the club, got his badges and will probably have learnt a fair bit at wet spam

Undecided. Pot him (or he goes of his own accord) and I’m not sure who could replace him? Rosenior is a shout but there’s a fair bit of negativity surrounding him

Worry is if he stays we have too many “high profile” games. Another 6 point loss to Wigan. Wrexham will be a circus. Brum will be nasty. Barnsley and Peterborough will be well up for it. Huddersfield away will be a big sell out. Classic games where we’ve failed last couple of seasons. It’s a lot of points to lose

Bending towards “go”

Feels crazy to me that anyone would be attached to someone because they came through the academy 20 years ago but made no significant contribution to the senior team.

People have generally turned their noses up at the idea of Nolan getting a go. And he's one of the better players we've ever had, plus he has a decent amount of experience as a manager and assistant. I'd be interested to know why anyone would favour Holden over him (not that he'd be my first choice either).

I do feel like any discussion over who a hypothetical next manager is fundamentally flawed though. It's all blokes we've barely heard of managing teams we never watch.

Rosenior is coming nowhere near us

His name is only getting mentioned because he doesn't have a job

May as well chuck Warnock in

Can bet your bottom dollar if he does leave, he will be Blackpools manager by November.

Markham will already have options in mind.

Increasingly thinking he can't stay as EVERY club next year will have seen how to undo us. For the same reason the single-style he has imposed MUST change & I'm not sure he can, or would be willing to.

Oh they really want him don't they ?

Least the ones I know do.

(Except one who has some personal beef with him 😁)

I've had this weird idea though that Derby will pot Warne soon and he might end up there .

Dunno why, like I say, just a weird feeling. 🤷‍♂️

Its one or the other, you can't have both.

I think we've been found out in this league. And my worry is that we will play EXACTLY the same style next season. And without some pretty major investment I can't see us improving much.

It's down to some soul searching from Ian Evatt. And whether his heart is still in it AND whether he genuinely thinks he can do better next season.

I imagine the mood in the squad is on its arse going into the summer!
