L/H White
Quote If you have just hopped across the Channel to Paris hoping to catch some of the Olympic surfing, bad news: it is in Tahiti, which is 10,000 miles away. This breaks the record for the furthest an event has ever taken place from the host city of an Olympics.
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted July 25 Site Supporter Share Posted July 25 Couldn't have it off the coast of France apparently for health and safety reasons. Too much of a chance of a collision with a dinghy.

maaarsh
Given their usual haughty approach seems notable they've basically had to go abroad to find actual celebrities to involve.

Site Supporter only1swanny Posted July 26 Site Supporter Share Posted July 26 Parts were really good, quite liked the dancing on the boats. However other parts were a bit dull, that silver horse looked impressive, but after 5 mins became a bit "Not done yet??" The whole story of following the parkour loving Phantom was really well done though! WTF was the ginger smurf about?
Site Supporter desperado Posted July 27 Site Supporter Share Posted July 27 Very different and unique. Enjoyed some of the highlights. The boats, the balloon, the tower and Celine Dion. Site Supporter desperado Posted July 27 Site Supporter Share Posted July 27 But for that puncture there’d have been a medal for Tarling in men’s TT, probably silver, very unlucky. Only 20 mind so he’s a good career ahead of him
