I'm hoping he does,  I'm hoping he looks at the team and rejig, we have some cracking players but this current game plan doesn't work.  . Once we're stable then bring back the pretty football that created 100+ goals last year.

Some might struggle with this.. 

The positive is that we still have 40 games left to play, more than enough to make up ground and get ourselves challenging again.

Our players are more than capable of reaching the playoffs even with the bad start. They need confidence and inspiration. Evatt is a broken man right now so they won’t be getting that from him.

The tactics is one side of it but the man-management and motivation is another. I don’t think if I was in that dressing room I’d have much faith left at all in “the process”.

I don’t for one second buy Evatt’s excuse of the game being a physical mismatch. If that’s the case we might as well have just forfeited the game before it started because they’re “bigger than us.” There is always a solution tactically to play to your strengths and target the oppositions weaknesses, he sadly did not find any despite priding himself on his tactical style. 

My gut says the decision has already been made and the board are waiting for Monday morning to announce it. My only counter is that I think SB will feel disappointed and embarrassed by how the decision to stick by him after Wembley has gone. Does she do what she did at the start of League 2 and double down on him? The difference now is that fans are in the stadium again and being vocal in their discontent, that may be a deciding factor.

In a moment of frantic fury I completely mixed things up and set fire to my pitchforks.

Suppose that's a positive of sorts.

 

My issue is he as 3 other coaches working with first team and not them or Evatt can see how poor we are or are they not allowed to voice an opinion.

Do you honestly think from that interview last night he is going into training next week and coming out with some Churchillian speech to get everybody up and firing and even after having done that he is going to have suddenly come up with a plan to turn things round ? He said yesterday that he does not any idea what to do. 
 

We have got rid of plenty of players because they were not good enough  to take us to next level , he is the same - move him on. 

Yes I know it's been grim for a bit. But I'm a glass half full man. I would like to think things will get better under Evatt. A learning curve that he needed. I've never seen a manager so demoralised after a defeat. I doubt Evatt will get much sleep between now and the Reading match.

It's not going to be Evatt having a 'road to Damascus' moment.

His style is nailed to the mast. If he went another route now he wouldn't believe in it.  Despite him claiming to be a 4-4-2 fan and loving wingers.

Don't know the in's and out's but seem to recall him being a shareholder.

He's under contract, shareholder and built a squad of his players, can the board afford to,

He’s already said he can’t go long as we don’t have the players. So he’s basically gone into a season with one way of playing. That’s fucking criminal. 

 

• A new manager with a talented squad has lots of time to give us an exciting season
• The club is stable
• We have good ownership 
• We’ve healthy crowds home and away
• We’re BWFC, ups and downs are part of our DNA, live through the downs to embrace the fantastic highs.
• This can be a blip in the longer term context of our renaissance post 2020
• We should look back at Evatt’s time in charge with respect, admiration and pride, there’s been some very good times. 
• We’ve got a good foundation to build and progress

No, I haven’t. I already know that, in professional life, we will encounter new experiences, skills and techniques. That is continuous professional development.

However, a learning curve is a situation is which someone new into a role or task has to learn a lot in a short period of time. Evatt should be well past this stage, as a manager.

I know we are clutching but one small positive is the upcoming run of fixtures which we would normally be expected to win !

Reading, crawley,shrewsbury,burton,stevenage,    maybe not in that order but Shirley you have to expect 4 wins out of 5 and maybe even all 5 !   

This could be the saving grace for Mr evatt.

I do actually think this is what will happen.
