October 28, 20241 yr Out of their 15 league & BSM games, only twice have both teams scored, and they were both away games. 13 games where whoever scores a goal, wins. Haven't yet had a 0-0 at home but 5 games with only 1 goal. "Not expecting a classic", but let's score first.
October 28, 20241 yr Looking at their form Bit random Lost 4 of last 6 But beaten Mansfield and Wrexham in the other 2
October 28, 20241 yr Will be leaving Tenerife at 7pm , hopefully get the same WiFi signal as Saturday.
October 28, 20241 yr Author Won’t hear the Stevenage heroes ballooning about away allocations as club have offered first dibs to the 300 foot soldiers putting the yards in tomorrow. Really good to give me a Stockport ticket, I declined as it’s a bit entry level for me.

October 28, 20241 yr An interview with Evatt in the BN has the quote "we've won 6 games out of 8, give us a break", then repeats the 6 out of 8 stat again. According to the league table we've won 6 all season! But if we win tomorrow it will be 6 out of 8 so maybe IE is just making a confident prediction. Bring it on.
October 28, 20241 yr Would be delighted with one of those Tuesday night scrappy win by the odd goal away games, 0-1. That would set up a proper tasty one with Stockport weekend after next, getting our hopes up again.

October 29, 20241 yr I wouldn’t mind seeing Charles being the only change. Thought the set up worked well on Saturday
October 29, 20241 yr I'd expect Vic and Charles to start tonight. Injury issues force his hand a little in midfield so it'll be Sheehan and Matete plus, possibly, Arfield. Nullify them and let the creators come on later in the game.

October 29, 20241 yr Just now, Casino said: can we not win it first? saturday got more out of collins stick with it just what i'd do I was being a little cheeky for the Vic and Arfield haters. But tonight will be a different challenge and I think a Vic type of game.
October 29, 20241 yr When we score first we more often than not go on to win. If we start quickly and score first I don't see them having enough to turn it round. Far easier for us to manage games from the front than come from behind
October 29, 20241 yr Arfield should not be even on the bench; start the same as Saturday or just put Dion up top
October 29, 20241 yr thought Charles looked better coming off the bench on the weekend. no problems if he starts, but think he is just as effective when coming off from the bench.
October 29, 20241 yr It’s a big game this in the context of the season. A win is always good. But there are so many aspects to this that could potentially make a statement. - A win away against one of those sides who can prevent you from playing and knock you off your stride - Showing progress from last year against these lot as last year was woeful. - You could isolate the Birmingham game and see the context of the good form we are in - Takes us into a league break with confidence and belief - Conversely and importantly not getting a win potentially magnifies frailties and gets folk asking questions of Evatt and the squad again. I fancy us tonight 👏👏 Edited October 29, 20241 yr by desperado
