Comparing any job to a football managers job is pretty nonsensical tbh. There are some elements they be comparable but the overall job is pretty unique.

I doubt you have hundreds of people on social media picking faults with every single thing you say and do. There are other clubs in the League actively working to stop us getting where we want to. How much personal abuse do you get on a daily basis from people who claim to be supporters ? Do you have people trying to organise boycotts during your working day and others searching out your kids to heap abuse on them ?

The rewards for being a succesful football manager are crazy but that is because there are very few who can do it well. Imagine after  really shit day a work with people giving you stick all day long you then have to spend a couple of hours being interviewed by local journalists asking inane pointless questions.

No saying we should feel sorry for IE or anyone who chooses that as a job, they are incredibly privileged to do what they do for a living but let's not pretend it is anything like managing contracts on site.

Having said that IE is proving not good enough in too many aspects of the job, every interview he gives causes more issues and this is not just when we are losing his 'best team in the league' comments won't be forgotten.

At no point did I suggest a Construction Manager could do a Football Manager's job or a Football Manager could manage a construction process.

I was making the point that all managers have to meet time objectives and our manager while exercising self-promotion, was ignoring the fact we are currently one year behind programme and maybe about to slide to two years.

However I fell into the trap that Cheese like to use, cherry pick a posting he/she has an issue with and then focus on a secondary point to deflect. I'll keep my comments more guarded in future even if that means stifling any alternative opinions.

I'd prefer Lolos than a striker in "midfield".

We'll see soon enough how exactly they set up.

Me too but I should imagine it'll be McAtee and Collins on either side of Big Vic.

Perfectly reasonable analogy.

With regards to our league status though, I wouldn't use that on its own to beat the gaffer, as unlike mkst industry, there are more than one "contractor" building the same thing, at the same time! :)

However, current performance levels at exterior issues are bringing more scrutiny upon the job.

Why are our wing backs on the wrong sides

So we can theoretically play more narrow going forward instead of crossing from wide to their giant defenders?

There looks about 5,000 thou on!

That has to bring it home to Sharron that loyalty is great but during failure it eats away at the spirit.

But hey, it may be 3-0 yet.
