He's the manager. He's the one who needs to put a stop to this. If he can't he shouldn't be there. If he has such undisciplined players there are reasons that's been allowed to develop.

No idea mate but that's pretty well known.

He does 3 sessions a week and when he's not there the players aren't training properly.

There's factions. All that locking themselves away without Evatt after Stockport, the captaincy stuff, GJs comments etc etc. There's 100% problems in there.

I think another consequence of players not playing as much is they are bound to feel less influential and less responsible for results.  There's no point coming out and saying "we're going to improve, trust us to get results" if you aren't on the pitch to be able to prove it. 

I know if I was in a team winning 1-0 comfortably while I was on the pitch, and then I got subbed and it all went pear shaped, I wouldn't be inclined to accept much responsibiIity for the result.  Equally if you start on the bench and do the last 25 minutes, you know there was only so much you could do, you're less likely to take ownership of the team's targets.

It's his team, and his players.

If he's lost their respect, the coaches aren't up to it, or they're bad eggs, them ultimately it still comes down to his decision to bring them in.

Where is the analysis etc before players come in?

I've no doubt some of them are going through the motions, and maybe he will get shut of some in January, nevertheless he has responsibility over the playing side of things and needs to shape up himself as well.

A new manager has a clean slate with players, and if he decides bad eggs need to be got rid of, then so be it.

Equally, a new voice may help sort out the situation.

If this is all true They are shithouses the lot of em from evatt down , got their feet under the table in a nice cushy job with 3 and 4 years deals and they are taking the piss out of the club and the fanbase .

If that is the case it explains a lot... Fk me , if all I had to do was to lead a bunch of lads who I had chosen to win football matches...  I would live, eat and breathe the job... I would make sure they all knew their jobs and played with smiles on their faces, before the games I'd have them bouncing off the walls and taking the piss out of each other and having the criach.... but still knowing they are about to go over the top into battle for me.
