Said this to your old man yesterday.

A scum fuck window cleaner and Doffcocker lodges answer to Homer Simpson can see it.

My fucking 10 year old could see it.

The whole of our row could them exploiting the gaps and spaces and a goal was coming.

That’s the point we all can see if from our seats but why can’t Evatt and I have noticed that  Crainey and Atherton just sit looking on bemused .

We’ve seen teams against tweak tactics and formations against, yet we never deviate. That is the most frustrating thing. He needs to do something and sharpish as I can’t see him getting sacked

Crucially, Maloney could see it and Clarke could see it.

Wigan did this to a tee the other week. Maloneys tactical team talk would’ve been so easy

“press from the front and put that slow paced docile Rio Ferdinand wannabe under pressure. He’ll have no option but to go long aimlessly.

then we get the ball, play in to midfield where they only have 2 so we outnumber them. From there feed it out wide as soon as possible where our wide men will have acres against CB’s who can’t defend space and that’s where we put the ball in for our runners as they won’t track them”

or words to that effect…

Said it before to play any variation of his systems your wing backs need to be absolutely fucking dynamite.

He had Fossey then Bradley so it/they worked.

Schon and Williams were sound in first half yesterday but struggled getting back then both ran out of legs. Hence we were exploited down the flanks.

He's asking a hell of a lot from division 3 full backs.

Fossey and John for half a season was as good as we've had it on both sides combined

Bradley was next level and everything went down his side which was a good job as nothing worked on the left that season

Monday? We want him to pick the side Sunday

In 5 years at the club he has never changed a game.....Yes he makes substitutions around the 60/70 min mark

Which have never changed in at least 3 seasons ie both forwards off and the left wing back off.

He never ever had a plan B.  Only one way of playing ,which worked as others have pointed out when we had the likes of Kioso, Fossey, Dapo and Bradley  at wing back .

Think of those 4 Three i think played in lge2 and then look at Schon, Williams, Cogley and Desmond in lge1 which four would you take.

Baxter is as good a keeper we have had since Jussi retired but he is no Sweeper and his distribution is woeful.

Jones is shocking and has gone backwards and not had a decent game in 12 months

Thomason kicks anything that does not move and is a average lge1 player who could not lace Kieron Lee boots

Santos is as good a centre back in the league yet they want him to play out from the back like Maldini

Johnston plays well with Schon but this inverted full backs is affecting his game.

Sheehan is too good a player to play in the position he is asked and needs to play further forward

Mcatee is lost where he plays and needs to play up front

Charles is the best goalscorer at the club but last time i looked no one ever  scored while sat on the bench

Collins is technically as good as anyone in league one, but is no team player or at the least a team Evatt sets up.

We have a talented squad and for whatever reason  it is not being utilised

Any happy clappers still in Evatts camp.....Show me how i am wrong

Folk need to stop posting favoured formations with 4 at the back

Something has to change if it’s not the boss man…

It’s a poor do when just seeing us go 4 at the back would excite me before the game. Sick to death of this 5 at the back.

Baxter

Toal Santos Johnston

Tutu Sheehan Dempsey GT Schon

Charles McAtee

Plenty good enough with plenty back up on the bench

My caveat was with who we have available for Sunday…

Bet close to 80% of the goals we've conceded are down to our dopey defenders ball watching.I'm convinced they don't practice actual defending in training just possession

There's more chance of mine than yours with 4 at the back

I like watching the three-man warm-up before the game, where Crainey smacks the ball up in the air and they have an uncontested header back to him - a scenario that happens all the time in games 😭

Getting Phil Neal and Graham Taylor vibes.

Got stick for it a while ago, but honestly once you realise we'll achieve fuck all with Ian it takes quite a bit of the pain of individual results away - if anything each loss takes us a step closer to the moment success is possible again.

I still enjoy going to the games (not as much as any time in the last 45 years admittedly, but still would rather be there than not).  But yes, coming away from each game a big consolation is being one game closer to a change.  Whether that's 100 games away or 10, its a progress of sorts.  It definitely helps with digesting terrible performances and results to know it won't always be this bad.

Playing us is a litmus test for coaches/managers.

If you're proactive and hatch a game plan you've cracked it.

Stick to your own fancy dan football and you've fucked it.
