Barnsley 2 Santos & Williams 1 because the rest where shit GT fucking awful , Jones cannot pass wind and Macatee he would win a bafta for his contribution Sharon does us all a favour and sack him because our seasons over if he stays in charge!

Surely you're not dismissing all the saves and catches Baxter made?  And some folk said drop him, body language poor or whatever.  A one man defence at times, been outstanding last few games.

Yep.

Demoralising no doubt.

As for the team as a whole, it seems Thomason is now getting stick.

Let's be honest, they are all a bit pants at the moment.

Confidence shot, an apparent lack of understanding of what the plan is.

Certainly not busting a gut, and too easy to play against.

I don't think the players are that bad; they need a new voice, coaching, and tactics.

It is remarkable how much a team, and players as individuals, can suddenly pick up when a new manager comes in.

Even a sense of relief to release the shackles.

Really don't see a few out and a few in making any difference. Moreover, which players who are of a good standard, are going to want to come?

Simply bobbins.

Mcatee is showing signs that none of them know what they are meant to be doing, as he's having a go at Evatt fairly frequently.

Times clearly up, the players seem to have given up, and the resilence/mindset crumbles

Who's our leader though? Not one of them has that instinct.. it's a poor state

Irrespective of who the leaders are supposed to be, when the whole team is so devoid of confidence and ideas, it's nigh on impossible to pick up.

Ive given up

Just got back. Great first half, cruising at 1-0. And then Evatt gets 15 minutes with them and the world collapses.

Should have conceded twice in the first few minutes of the second half, but Barnsley were so poor that they had the grace to wait until we could have another run at the bingo machine to make our subs before they decided to turn up and take their chances.

Like an endless bloody loop of two steps forward, one step back.

Not being wise after the event just because we've lost, but not for one minute were we cruising in the 1st half, they were still the better team.  Goal incorrectly (I'm told) disallowed, the Jones fantastic clearance from in front of his goal, the break when Baxter came charging out, loads of corners and blocks and saves.  Their keeper let one in that he could have saved, and no other involvement except the routine collection of Arfield's shot and to be fair to Arfield two of the better deliveries of corners we've seen this season.  We were 2nd best in the 1st half yet again, and 2nd best by a country mile in the 2nd half.

13 hour shift at work yesterday, football today.

I enjoyed yesterday better.

If we get a new manager now it will give him time to bed in and if we make playoffs great if not we have a new man in for next season with money to spend to really go for it

He'll have targeted the same spineless signings that haven't been enough to get us up previously. Just take a punt on another manager, might not work out but it's better than almost certainly not getting promoted with Evatt and wasting yet more money.

So you put a manger in with 7 days notice then expect him to Turn like you said a spineless squad around in a transfer window? No leave evatt there and don’t waste the money and bring someone in tail end when we’re mid table let him sell a few of them if possible in Jan

Can’t wait to see what money he can piss up the wall with in Jan.

Hopefully the board will give him fook all and tell him to work with what he's got. It'll just be pissing money up the wall if they do.

No I don't expect him to turn them into a promotion team. I'm saying there's a chance a different voice might instil a bit more backbone, and if not we've started building for next season.

Leaving it as it is is simply accepting failure.

Nope, sorry but nope.

Why no match report in BN? Or manager’s interview? Is something brewing?

I fear that the board are  too weak to sack him, that they are stubbornly willing to let it run, whatever the league position and disenfranchised loyal fans that that may bring about?

Dan Barnes in charge and probably needs to get authorisation to put anything out

It's truly sad what's happened to the club now, people are just fed up, so many empty seats and will only get worse.

Been over the manager a hundred times and we have all heard enough. The club needs a change and it's never been more evident.

The only thing now is just how toxic and how bad is Sharon willing to allow it to get just to preserve her positive business approach and personal relationship with Evatt.

Leave Evatt there, and waste the season then?

Get rid now, and even if we don't then achieve the goal of promotion, it gives the new chap time to assess and plan for next season.

Baxter had a really decent game at the shot stopping and catching parts of his game, three top saves first half, solid otherwise. His dithering about with the ball at his feet doesn't inspire confidence but no doubt carrying out orders to the letter.

I've been a pretty devout backer of GT but he was horrendous today, pass completion must have been about 30%. Really struggled to find a white shirt with any sort of pass

I'm the same mate.

My lads didn't want to come today. Had to literally pep talk them out of their bedrooms to come. They've never been so disinterested or disconnected.

They were both bored in the hotel and bar a decent bit in the first half were bored shitless and freezing for most of it.

Tired, crap and stale football. Passing leading to nothing and incredibly poor decision making.

A manger bereft of ideas. A fanbase fucked off.

It's so bad. It's so boring and utterly so predictable.

I've had enough, my kids have had enough, looks like everybody has had enough.

I don't want to go back to that football stadium and either do my kids.

It's awful.

Did you remind them that was our best first half performance here for over 3 months?

He should of gone after Oxford then aftet s poor start then again Stockport was the last opportunity.
The club as since been building for the Jan window to me it’s to late we have missed the opportunity to get rid to sack him now after loosing to Barnsley is pointless

Exactly that. Never when a player does something so obviously stupid like Jones pass in the first half that all but cost us a goal did you see anybody taking him to task it happened all over the pitch not just bad passes but stupid ones yet not one player facing retribution from the others. For me that tells me everything, they just don’t care, accept it because there’s no point bothering. As for the lack of discipline, that’s the same, they just carry on and nobody cares. There’s clearly a complete breakdown in the camp and I genuinely don’t think they give a monkeys any more.

That was Thomason, supposedly our holding midfielder today.

Too many players having bad games, a complete lack of a game plan, it falls on evatts shoulders once again.

Watch it back..... Arfields man andhe was walking back
