Ss got it wrong. He's allowed to do so as he's new and he's not seen the players to the extent of most. Murphy did well,  but Randall and Sheehan are struggling atm. Think it was the best game we've seen so far for Randall.

Lots of positives, some good football on a god awful pitch which was embarrassingly poor.

We're a footballing passing team, the mud put a stop to that... poor reffing and a new player that's not match fit.

Onwards and upwards.

It was always going to be an odd game today, SS hasn't had chance to do a proper training session with them all yet. Hopefully we'll have a chance to have some enjoyable games and if we get to the playoffs, happy days, if not, we get a taster of what to expect next year and hopefully he'll bring in "his players" and we try to replicate the Argyle championship campaign

Just have to take it with massive pinches of salt amigo. There's a big chunk of them are 12 years old with a platform to talk drivel incognito.

Most people from planet earth with perspective realise it wasn't that bad, we had the best chances, play that game 10 times Collins scores twice in 8 of them games, perhaps?

Social meds is just full of silly kids, oppo fans on the wind up, and that bloke that phones bolton fm up at 4.50pm every Saturday.

Off the (admittedly brief) highlights, a couple of Collins's chances weren't that straightforward though the one on one was a pretty bad miss. He keeps looking for positions to score though, and he needs others to start chipping in.

The hand ball was daft, Tutu was behind him, would have cleared it comfortably, no manager can legislate for a player doing that.

Tight game, fine margins, turned on a couple of incidents, not a bad performance so reasonable SS takes the positives from it

Except that he's a centre forward, so what was he doing in our box?  Not even like it was 96th minute last gasp defend at all costs, even if he'd cleared it, who's going to stop it coming straight back at us?  Hopefully that's the last time he's in our box, and he can take McAtee with him, to improve our chances of not cocking up within 25 yards of our goal.

Yes, if he's on the pitch anytime soon he may be told to stay up, out of the way. God only knows what was in his mind. McAtee's reaction on the highlights video says everything.

SS will have seen a lot today, some of it to his liking, some of it not. He won't sort it all in a few days though, or even a few games.

It’s early days yet but Randall is a funny one. Works hard, decent on the ball but doesn’t half waste some promising positions. I think Macatee would have finished at least two of the chances he has wasted over the last couple of games.

Goddamn we have some morons on social media. Supporters saying that Randall is pathetic, saying the other new lad needs to be shipped back to Cardiff, that the performance from the team was horrid and no change from Evatt.

Give the manager and the new players some goddamn time ffs.

Collins scores one of his sitters and our player doesn't do that handball and give them a penalty(their first shot on target). Then everybody is wanking off the new manager, the team and saying we're winning every game.

Morons.

The real supporters at the ground today were absolutely outstanding, fair play to every single one of you.

Don't listen to social media mate it's not real life

Excellent advice. I just hope the players and staff at the club do the same. The support on the terraces has been amazing this last fortnight, and pretty special in terms of numbers since covid. The Twitter lot can all get in the feckin sea

For older viewers, Mcdonagh was dreadful

Blackpool at home or similar? 76/77?

Moxey's debut was of such calamitous proportions I'm not sure he, or faith in Dougies judgement ever recovered.

Thought we were poor and second best first half. Better 2nd half and missed some decent enough chances but struggled to see where my mates who said we should have won by 2 or 3 were coming from. Maybe I'd just got carried away this week and expected too much. Good day out though.

See, i though first half was ours

Second much more even

Coll8ns missed at least 2 he should score

Reasonable full time score 2-5, imo

Thomason on a 2 match ban after his booking today.

Which was a joke

They had one, wareham? must have had 5 or 6 fouls

Thought it was an OK performance rather than great as we were overrun in midfield a fair bit and in possession we wasted the ball a lot/got caught in possession but we are a long way from being good enough to overcome setbacks and bad luck which top teams have the quality to do and when we are on top we are just not ruthless enough.

Hopefully Schuey will be able to get a tune out of them, but there is work to do.

Our GD of zero tells the story.

aye he was chairman there and had Michael Jackson and David Blaine attend games

Only Victor Adeboyejo has spent more time in a box doing fuck all than David Blaine.

Just got back. 0-0 would have probably been a fair result according to the Reading fans on the bus, but personally I think we threw that one away. Thick as fuck for the penalty and Collins simply has to score the one he chipped wide.

Not too disheartened overall, quite liked Murphy defensively but it certainly sets up as 5-3-2 rather than 3-5-2 in that sense. Crawley will be interesting in terms of selection and formation. I do have a hunch that SS won’t necessarily bin the 3 centre backs, but will certainly be looking to push the wing backs further on as they did in the two games last week (and the Charlton game if we’re being fair to IE)

It's fine, hopefully whoever replaces him makes the places their own and keeps him out of for a spell, not good enough, a wreckless clown

Definitely needs a rest, thought that on Tuesday.
