I'm going predict that after seeing the fifa/usa lovefest last night, trump will win the World Cup next year, he will present the trophy to himself, and declare the trophy stays with him....he will also declare himself the world cups top goal scorer.

This world cup is making a bit of a sham of the whole thing I really don't think I will be too interested in this till the quarter finals, just give Trump the made up peace prize before final with more coverage than the final itself and that will confirm that the whole thing has gone down a rabbit hole

You're right though, I'd be fairly surprised if the two finalists aren't in that list. I don't see an African team winning it for a long time.

Ronaldo himself wouldn't be "slipping" anybody at either UEFA or Fifa anything, but they're "flexing" the rules to make sure that one of the most famous and highest profile footballers ever is at the tournament so they can maximise the advertising and commercial benefits he'll bring to proceedings. 

I'm not sure he'll contribute a vast amount as a player, but like Messi, his face will be all over the place. And imagine the wankfest if they play against each other.
