Best pub I've ever been in was Mr Pickwicks in Geneva, couldn't get tickets for the Lichtenstein game so staying in there to watch the game.

My local £3.40 for John Smiths, plenty of entertainment on over the weekend and popular quiz on Weds.

Best pint was at the England v Holland semi-final, I reckon everybody's went up in the air when Ollie Watkins banged that last minute winner in.  Most lads bought two at a time and we all got drenched.

...I'm way past having pints at silly O'clock just for the picture mind.

Nobody actually wants that pint.

Has to be past 10am for me.

I know you did. Airport pints are just a way of passing the time and marginally better than a walk through duty free perfume, duty free chocolate and knicker box.

Stiil never lager though, even after 10. That stuff goes straight through. You'd never be off the plane bog and woe betide if you get the wrong side of the crisps and butties trolley.

Disappointing? :D

Called into Rochdale on the train to sort out my car repair. Lots of phone calls and broken promises forced the face to face confrontation. It worked and getting some extra work done as compensation.

Anyway, pleasantly surprised with Rochdale and the area around the Town Hall and church. In the Flying Horse now with a nice pint of Brid’s Cross Pirate Queen. Lovely. Might try the one next door as well.

Edit. Walked in and then out.😊

Aye it's minging. Obviously you're not just stopping at one. Probably get away with it on a stag do, remember getting to Benidorm once at 11am and was 10 pints deep. Horrendous.

Even shitter on a family holiday to Lanzarote. 3 pints in at 8am and clucking like Renton and Spud for more.

Get there and family want to go exploring and all you want is a beer.

Flying Horse is good. Get yourself to the Baum next time, mind you it's a bit of a walk. Rochdale's surprisingly good for a pub crawl.

I'd forgotten about that. Yes it's up the escalators Ithink. They have some decent stuff on up there.

I also went to nrb thing with work. Might be on my own here but it felt like a load of people who pretended they liked being in pubs as opposed to actual pubs.

I had a great giggle- mix of legit business folks, punters, and pissed up sales reps rubbing their tits against me; female ones too

Been invited to a wine do next week of the back of it
