He's not playing as a wing back for them. They're using him as a winger in a 4231. That's his position. He's still shite and I'm sure he will revert back to average league one player should they still be in league 1 next season. If they get promoted, can't see him making an impact on the champ. 

There’s a difference between being played out of position and not being as capable in that role, and turning out of some of absolute shambles of performances highlighted.

Williams is one of many that I am (will be) glad to see the back of. We need a fundamental rebuild.

Remember thinking our manager was way more advanced than Wellens and Challinor

tonight's ex player in the play offs who Evatt never utilised properly is Kieran Sadlier

bit mad that with 2 games to go Wycombe won at ours and looked nailed on for 2nd, but ended up coming 5th

Folks don’t half get misty eyed. 
 

Neither Sadlier nor Williams are good enough if we have aspirations to get promoted.

Both of them are on the bench for their new teams.

Folk are remembering the one or two flashes of skill that they showed now and again.

We need better than them.

People are forgetting we ended up 8th. That means 7 squads better, better organised & better players than us. Not recognising that is misty eyed.

Exactly.

Williams did little or nothing in either leg of the semi final.  Scored a good goal when he first went to orient but that’s about ur lot.

Yes.

It seems that Evatt pissed one or two off in the end. Out of position or a style that didn't suit.

Probably isn't good enough for championship, but if he gets there, good on him and good luck.

I recall thinking Wellens was a cocky little nobhead with his 'I could get this lot promoted' statement, He might well be able to say he was justified (while still being a cocky little nobhead 🤣)

I am sick of hearing their fans say they've never lost at the Reebok (played them 5 times in league and cup, we've drawn 2 and lost 3) and generally fed up of being on the wrong end of results against them. 

Another one next season that needs putting to rights next season along with winning at Bloomfield Road/preserving our long unbeaten home record v them and further wins v the pie men.

If and when we finally win at Blackpool I think I'll be more pleased for you than me, my family, the club and all other fans put together 😀

Even his 35 yard throw went straight to the keeper.

Just a steady Eddie for me. 

6-7/10 every week. Rarely makes a mistake, don't remember him ever having a proper stinker bar one game this season when he was all over the place and his time was up.

 

Watching Stockport v Leyton Orient just showed how far ahead Challinor and Wellend are ahead of Evatt. I mean light years ahead too.
