Two cracking games but oh how did County not win that with those last minute chances? Fair play to Orient they were my tip for the final place and they’re half way to it now. When we’ve strengthen over the summer we’ll sort County next season.

Nothing sums up the Evatt era more than Stockport County. They bolt out of the National League (beating us as a non league club in the FA Cup) , through League 2 like a dose of salts and then straight to the top of League 1 overtaking us with our pretty, pretty football on the way.

I am sick of hearing their fans say they've never lost at the Reebok (played them 5 times in league and cup, we've drawn 2 and lost 3) and generally fed up of being on the wrong end of results against them. 

Another one next season that needs putting to rights next season along with winning at Bloomfield Road/preserving our long unbeaten home record v them and further wins v the pie men.

Apparently Challinor slagged their fans off in an interview after the game for lack of atmosphere and leaving early. Some are not happy.

Similarly I'm pleased they're not going up. Partly because it's a nice local away, but also because I can't wait to get a proper team together next season with some physicality to finally put these (and Wigan and Blackpool) in their place before we get promoted.

I’m amazed nobody’s been in for Challinor before now, seems a really good guy, good communicator and foesnt seem to get rattled and rant during games. In fact if we hadn’t had Schu I’d have liked him here with his success rate and he hasn’t spent heavily to get it.

Oh dear such a shame 🤣, they all thought they had done the hard work away.

a few county fans I know think challinor will leave this summer - good cv and probably get a bigger job whilst his stock is high.

Their performance did remind me of us, missing vital big chances on 90 and 120 minutes and then living to regret it.

anyway, time for them to get back in their box - and wait for us to hopefully put things right next season.

my daughter has a cup final there on Monday, so will just leave them a few bolton stickers in certain strategic places to remind them which division they are in.

Williams at Rotherham away put in the shitest performance I have ever seen from a Bolton player in a sea of sloppy shit he was a a stand out turd. He was nearly as bad in the game we lost v Villa kids.
